I posted this elsewhere but being that many classes have this debate what are your thoughts? the character is a gwf w/ mid 60% crit chance. that crit will be increasing.

    Vorp => higher personal DPS
    PF (or Terr) => higher party DPS

    ...so it totally depends on what your aiming for. Also on what your running buddies use...

    What are the thoughts about a perfect Plague Fire Vs a Greater Vorpal for a Crit build CW?

    Perfect Plague Fire costs around 750k AD on the AH while a Greater Vorpal will set you back around 1.4 Million AD. Prices may fall on both after Mod 8 drops next week and the new Trade Bar prices come into play. I went for a Plague Fire on my CW as it was the more affordable option. You pays your money ....... :)

    Vorpal for CW, always, no question about it. CWs are so dependant on Storm Spell for dmg, that you have to have a LOT of crit, and given that most CWs have over 60% crit chance (My thaum averages about 83-84% crits in ACT), vorpal is by far the best

    As much as I know, there is no better class at applying/maintaining plague fire stacks, than a CW who uses conduit of ice, icy terrain, steal time. When equipping a debuff weapon enchantment, it's important to actually test it. I suspect many players simply equip a weapon enchantment without checking if it works as well as they think. Weapon enchantment effectiveness also greatly depends on which powers are used. Some powers do not apply weapon enchantment effects.

    It depends. Solo play, Vorpal. Dragons zerg, DF, vorpal because for sure someone uses it. A dungeon run without another player uses plague, plague fire is great. More important, plague is cheap. Another bonus is that some stacks can be triggered by each hit of DoT.

    Plague stack are applied on each hit, so as long as you're hitting stuff the stacks are there.
    That + the fact that you're giving 9% DR reduction (PVE) makes PF the best utility enchant in the game.

    For the high crit GWF, Vorpal is a no brainer.
    Vorpal always was a great overall enchant. You can always put it on the TR,CW or HR and still ti will be equally good.

    Doesn't plaguefire stack irregardless as to how many people are using it? I thought it was just Feytouched that had problems with only working for one player.

    Vorpal without any more discussion..... I could see a tank running a PF, or some other debuff .. maybe a Cleric or even a HR.... but with you at 60% Crit, I have to assume you have like 110% or so severity ..... your role in life is big mean honking hits.... and a Vorpal helps make that happen.

    My philosophy is:
    DPS: focus on damage
    Others: focus on debuff.

    I have Vorpal on my HR and planning to get Terror on my OP Tank.
