Ok look iv asked a few times for you guys to add in a drop down on the roster page that shows the total contributions for each member, this is needed information that you guys have yet to provide us ingame, specficily the guild leaders want this for making better choices for promotions instead of just relying off of TIL or time spent in the guild, sure they could have been there 6 months and have a TIL of 3k but if their not donating anything im not going to promote them, so once again Please add in a drop down on the guild roster page for total contributions this is definitely needed information for us guild leaders....

The game is toxic enough. We don't need elitists weeding out people because they aren't contributing enough.

you do realize that typing @ instead of the word "at" is pointless since both requires you to press 2 buttons so you're not saving any time.

That being said, I actually do agree with you that it would be nice to be able to track if people are donating or not. And each person can do whatever they want with that info, some will use it, other can ignore it.

What I said at the start.. make a total contribution level of the entire account.

this is what should've been done. Total value of donation. Ive probably put in.. somewhere in the vicinity of 160k or something in total guild mark values. I doubt that would make me even a top 15 in my guild.. Tie it to guild marks earned (not capped ) but earned total value. So if total value earned was 100k guild marks, you would be posted as such.

the issue with the system in place right now is you could donate.. and by the time someone reviews its off the page! You could keep the rolling log, but also have a seperate page showing total value of donations.. from the start!

I see the need for officers to make sure that people are at least doing their part, but I would hate for a new system to be put into place and lose all of that history that was done as well.

This is not even close to needed. It's qol. You can spreadsheet the data now from the guild stronghold page as long as you have at least 1 person to write down the info daily. So much other stuff to fix, this is not even a thing.

I would only like to see the Top 5 Accounts and Characters donatees, something like a Leaderboard. Base it off Guild Marks earned.

The OP only wants an excuse to boot out all the Dwarves in his guild for not donating enough. ;)

    IMHO this is control##

...actually I'd guess it'd be more of a threat-"motivation" scheme...

Neverwinter and STO are not the same game. What works in STO, may cause too many bugs or issues with Neverwinter. Remember when Strongholds launched and you couldn't even look at coffer contributions because it would cause a crash? In a large MMO such as this, fixing something tends to break other things sometimes. This is true of all MMOs (and sometimes software in general). So software development companies must either A) decide to leave a bug in the game, B) fix the bug at the risk of worse bugs occurring in something that's seemingly unrelated, or C) find another way to fix it without breaking anything else. Millions of millions of lines of code. Lots of potential for bugs.

big fat zero next to someones name, the rest of the guildies who have been busting their a$$es for the past X amount of time are not going to be happy
Only if they know. And it's not their business to know anyway. Nor do they know the details of my playing time, the amount of dungeons I helped people through or any other relevant information required to make a judgement on a person's value to the guild. People put way too much emphasis on the donation numbers and don't care enough about the other ways guild members are contributing to the welfare of the guild and its members.

    This exactly!

A total donated tally wont show if the player is supporting the guild by running content, it wont show if they are donating gear to other players, it wont show if they are passing on loot to allow other guildies win it, it wont show how much of their play time has been devoted to the guild. It simply shows a total, delivered out of context, that shows only one minor aspect of being in a guild. An aspect that wasnt even needed for most of the life of the game and only invented because people felt being guilded needed extra motivation.

If the only way you as a guild leader knows if your members are participating. Is by a faceless entry on a form, and not by actually seeing them in game, playing with them, interacting with them, or adventuring and farming with them, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG!

not their place to know lol, or none of their business lol wtf is this mess, you know what I hope they install this feature just to make you squirm magenubbie, I want everyone to know if some1 is leeching in a guild just using the boons and other guildies, this is the issue @ hand and you are defending leeches........ makes you look really bright

Well at least the whole pretense of using it for "promotions" got tossed aside for the real truth of things.

I can only guess your guild has only existed after mod 7. Because by your limited definition of usefulness in a guild. Everyone would of been leeching.

But assuming your guild actually did exist before mod 7. How did you manage to function? How did you know who to promote, or to remove? How did you discover the active players from the leeches? Guild leaders, like yourself, asked for, and demanded incentives for guilds to attract more players, to be more useful. And now that you got it, all you want to do is use it as a measuring stick.

If there are leeches in your guild YOU put them there. If there are people ONLY willing to join your guild because of the special cookies are offering. Then it is a situation you created.

Guilds NEED to be more then the boons or perks they can offer. And membership needs to be more then maintaining some stupid quota on a balance sheet. If anyone cant understand that, then you clearly are running or being in a guild for the wrong reasons.

You know what, I'm convinced. But no need to be a complete pansy about it. Lets really show them leeches!

I want to know the age of every player made public to all. After all, we don't want leeches. And kids and teens are the ultimate leeches. They don't work, they cant possibly generate enough income to be a worthy guild member. They are either completely free players or leeching off some one else, most likely some silly parent. No one wants one of those in their guild and we need an in game tool so we can kick them out.

So how old are you Doublea2015?

common sense dictates that the guild leaders are able to see a spreadsheet of whose donated what. we need sortable columns.

    Thanks for all the fish.

Please don't add this. It really would add more toxicity.

Personally I have been a member of a guild before the SH even came to be. There were no requirements, just hang out and help each other. Now I am expected to be their slave and produce at whatever rate the guild leader thinks I should be producing at. No Thanks.
