Mount Speed Changes

Hey, and since you guys are updating the Trade Bar store...maybe put some mount upgrade tokens in there? Eh? Eh?

I know people don't care much for the looks of some of the mounts, but would definitely love to have their older purple mounts upgraded to 140%.

I also think having the option to buy mount abilities could be another revenue source for you guys, or split between rare BoE dungeon drops and Zen/Trade Bar items.

Imagine if T2 bosses had a rare chance to drop mount upgrade tokens or skill books that added +4000 stat to an existing mount...that would get some attention for sure!

I really dont get why people are so excited about mount speed. They are still not BiS over a epic one with 4k armpen.

Shouldnt ALL legendary mounts be BETTER than epic ones? Whats wrong with you people..

Did you mean for the purple "[Champion's] Armored Bulette (from our NCL event)" to be increased
to 140%, and not the Orange lock box ones?

Is this backwards? Or did you mean to say both would be boosted?

(Oh, and you DO need to add Lord's Armored Polar Bear to the list)

Checked Owlbear (after 15 GB patch).

Legendary/orange Armored Bulette is now 140%
Epic/purple Champion's Armored Bulette (from NCL event) is still 110%.

Going on the words of lead game designer, sold my Legendary Armored Bulette today thinking my NCL prize Armored Bulette would be upgrade to 140% speed as Scott said. Very disappointed at the misleading typo, GG

How about throwing those they have been with you since beta a bone. Make my account wide blue mounts I got with the Guardian pack 140%

I was hoping my Champion Armored Bulette (from NCL top 40 of each class) would become 140% too.... guess this mount upgrade thingie has nothing to do with me then...

Both the Lord's Polar Bear and (now especially since he said so) the NCL Bulette need to be set to 140%

I'm hoping that someday we can upgrade our existing mounts to rank 4. My first and favorite mount is still the Small Forest Stag from the tradebar store. That fits my HR the best -- except perhaps for the Sylvan Stag, but that's too unwieldy when trying to run up to vendors and such.

This is great Change especially for all ppl which got one of this Mounts But the result of it the prices went stupidity high now,
but still not bad at all.

- I hope to see the "Rank4 Book"
- I want to see an Legendary 140% Mount on STORE for zen an a Special one ^^

everyone who play D&D know the magic called Tenser Disc. I think u guys really need pay atenttion on lore because this is one of the most powerful magics in D&D lore, certainly need stat/passive and active bonus...
of course other mounts need of this upgrade too...

Now I have to switch between my uber expensive legendary mount with no stats to epic one with 4k armpen everytime I do PvP.

I think the Spider Mount in the Foundry Pack should definitely get boosted to legend status. That pack is 199.99 alone. Surely that mount should be orange.

I think a good next step would be adding a zen item for each of the existing zen mounts that gives an account wide upgrade to that mount, that way people who have already purchased an account wide epic mount wouldn't have to purchase an entirely new account wide legendary mount if it does hit the zen store. Thank you for making the change to the legendary mounts, although I would like to see purchasable/dropped upgrade tokens. I think dungeons dropping upgrades is an awesome idea that should be implemented. This was good work, now let's see some more.

I had hoped the legendary spider mount would have got the same treatment, particularly when I purchased the Hero of the North Pack as a founder when the game was first getting started and needed financial support. It seems founders get no recognition of their early assistance, which is sad.

...while we're at it, this would also make sense for the whites, greens, and blues. Staggered prices, ofc.

But I fear C will esteem the single-char rarity and hence exclusivity of those extremely low-chance Oranges higher, as I can imagine that gambling addicts and must-have-no-matter-the-money BiS-strivers contribute massively to their Key sales. And as we know, it's absolutely not beneath them to employ... ...ummm, certain kinds of... ...leverage(?) to "entice" players into giving their money. (Bags anyone?)

So: Yes, it would be nice. Yes, it would be fair. No, It won't probably happen, I think...

Well it wasn't really a free upgrade but as the title said a tweak, i.e. something to bring it in line with WAI. So don't get too gushy or indignant about players complaining.

I agree, people whom spent money for what were the best (fastest mounts) back then should have at least a token purchasable from the zen store to make it legendary... Won't complain if it's not free, but at least something to go with, instead of making people pay (again and again)...

Agreed that the Giant Spider Mount should be granted legendary status as it is costly to acquire.

It is the sole reason why I invested in the Heroes of the North pack.

Firstly - this is a great thing to do. I don't understand why people moan when there's a boost to something.
But I would love for there to be affordable mount upgrades. Will there ever be a mount training IV? Can someone clarify this?

THANK YOU, for making my NCL mount legendary. it would have been a crappy thing to do to make players work for that and then make it useless.
BUT WHY DID YOU SHRINK IT? was it just easier to change the skin? what?
PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK . FIX MY CHAMPIONS BULETTE.

...... I'd much rather have the disk than the dancing fail snail or the ostrich, both of which look absolutely horrible in my opinion. Well made, but horrible for a DND game just the same.

Those 2 mounts you mention are both beauty pageant winners compared to the new gas bag. It's fun to watch some one ride it - but it is hideous. I don't care what the stats are, I would not want to have one for my toon. Looks like a diseased tumor suspended by balloons in a cloud of HAMSTER gas.
