I've got a 70 gf. He's pretty good in a dungeon, not a pally but pretty good. I enjoy playing him but he is truly a tank spec. grinding daily's is unbelievably painful. what my gwf can do in 10 minutes will take 30 with my gf. the support classes like a dc and gf really need to be able to switch between two specs. lots of games have a pve and pvp set up where they can switch from one to the other, why don't we?

Its been suggested for the start of the game.. They are afraid they might lose a retrain token sale obviously.. its also been suggest by many of us, that limiting every effing thing in the game behind a pay wall is ridiculous.

You have your monthly sub for us now.. give us something back!

I'd say because it's simply not within the DnD canon to allow this. Granted, DnD isn't specifically designed with PvP in mind either but that's no excuse to change the core rules. In DnD we live with our weaknesses, short of having a wish aka respec token, but wishes are extremely rare. They add flavor, challenge and let's face it: in DnD we are not gods and never will be.

Then: what do you think would happen if everyone can change their skills and feats whenever they want to? Are you truly so short-sighted that you cannot see any problems with that? Gear changing is one thing and I'd welcome that perhaps with a different skill setup of the skills you already own. That's just handy. Spec changing is quite another.

Lastly, as Kelt said, what would be the use of a respec token?
While I agree it's really not in the DnD TABLETOP canon, this is not the tabletop game.

I see you quoted me but i don't think you read my post. I don't think you should be able to change feats at will. I think you should have two different build setups that you can switch back and forth. Put a 10 minute cool down on the switch or something. you'll still need a respec if you want to change either build. problem here is if you are a pvper your build is pretty bad for pve. also, if you are a support toon your ability to solo is really tough.

seems to me that the game designers want people to play their game and enjoy doing it. people having fun tent to pay more then people who are miserable grinding at a snails pace.
