Button inputs randomly not working after getting new XB1 dashboard

After getting the new dashboard recently. Now button inputs are broken on Neverwinter. For example. When I want to invite someone from the chat into a game. Pressing A on the user's name will instead move me DOWN or UP in the chat instead and I have to try again several times before it will give me the chance to invite them. This is not limited to the chat though. It happens in the menu's also. Sometimes when moving down to say get to 'Campaigns". When I press down it will instead go RIGHT or LEFT or UP or even press B and close the menu. Moving/using items in my inventory is now a chore also since I often am not going the direction I am pressing. Not the controller as I have tried others. Not lagging as gameplay is fine, pings look good, and this has been going for over a week now.

Please advise. It is quite difficult to play at present.

Edit: I have reported a bug for this through the XB1 dashboard also.
