Okay, how the heck do you post images here? Any use of img or IMG tags just makes it into a busted link as above, and the little icon that tells me to put in an image address does nothing at all for me.

There's an attach image file button. It only works for direct links to the image.

This isn't luck. It is a bug. If you roll the dice and they don't load, and then you refresh the screen, sometimes you get all dice of the same roll.
