also does it destroy armor kits when upgrading the armor \????

There is no Burning Black Ice gear that I know about. There are Burning Ward and Burning Assault. They are both level 5 Black Ice shaping tasks.

Any crafting upgrade will destroy any enchantments/kits on the item.

You upgrade your PVP set through black ice shaping. I think they are rank 5 tasks. Hopefully you've been doing your IWD dailies.

The dailies are brutal. I play the game to PvP, but I need the dailies to be competitive (boons)...so right now I'm stuck in this hell where I spend my entire playtime doing something I don't want to do so that I can be competitive possibly at a later date at something that I may not have time to do. Hmm.

I really only have time to do 2 out of 3 in a day so I keep bouncing around. Making progress though.

same here if you want to get any play time in you have to skip some dailies

IWD isn't that bad once you unlock dwarven valley. That area seems to be much easier/quicker to do solo. Plus, once you get to that point, you can kind of hold off on the ice pass quests because you really only need to grind for the rep and dwarven coins.

Strange, I had the exact opposite experience as a CW. Lots of tasks in Dwarven Valley are best done in a team (and take a lot of med kits in the process). And yes, reputation is the only important thing to push forward in IWD. Daily/weekly lairs in Sharandar and Dread Ring.

Pick up your daily quest regardless everyday to stack and have available and knock em out when you have time, not to miss out on campaign resources.

Just skip past the BS by buing Genie's Gifts's in the Trade House and hand them in for each campaign, then you only have to do the one daily from each. Saves a ton of time.
