But ultimately, the players are not being ignored.
Hey man, just try to do a Foundry, don't forget to put a "Sound asset" + the use of at least one or several teleports between some objectives, and then test it, btw use the Snowy mountain large map.

Well. Somewhere I've heard, that you are working on PS4 version of NWO. Is that true? Is that a reason why we don't have Stronghold pvp for almost week? hmmm?
As terrible as it sounds, I dont think that Neverwinter is fixable anymore. A mod is released, there are issues but the next mod is being developed and pushed out before the previous one is completely resolved and in working order. The community clearly said that Strongholds is not the PVP they want, mod is released as it is anyways. Some classes under certain conditions are unkillable in PVP while others have been rendered unplayable or virtually useless. We hear, "NEW MOD, NEW MOD, NEW MOD, NEW MOD!!!" from the devs but nothing or very little about fixing old issues, some of which have persisted across several updates. Sure, no one is ever completely happy about PVP balance but it is ignored or uncommented on completely and that is worse. The right answer is stop making new mods, fix existing content and then build upon it. The current meta is unplayable in the long run for anyone past level 70 really. Everyone I started the game with has quit. I barely log in because the community is mostly comprised of people who start, play to endgame, find endgame soul killing and then quit.

Wise words. The question is: are those hearable by devs?
what is rude and unconstructive is the deafening silence from cryptic. how many months do we have to wait for any kind of answer.
How many months have you got?

I feel that if they had just ONE dev working on bugs/exploits, that fixes would be coming along so very quickly.
Sure, it would be like eating an elephant, but so long as they are taking just a bite at a time, and forward progress was being made, that the community would be a lot more patient.
Dedicated teams working specific tasks would do a lot to streamline the amount of work that needs to be done. Invest in some big whiteboards and make checklists.. something..
And if "management" is truly to blame for the crippling changes and lack of story, then they need to loosen their grip on the devs and allow for creativity and personal input... however, if the devs are lacking in creativity, then Cryptic needs to really look into finding personnel who can provide that creativity.
Yeah sooo I'm not a stooge, but I'm not going to slam devs. It's a biz - I get that. I work for a living as well, where I hear the same mantra from project managers, team leads and execs - 'increase cash flow, ROI, productivity, speed to release, blah blah blah'
So I feel for the devs who are undoubtedly smart enough to know when a given "fresh" idea will go over like a lead balloon (nerf old BiS gear for mod 6 - oh yeah, the fans will LOVE that! Or - hey - SMoPs - what a GREAT idea!!) But they have to implement those dumba** ideas anyway because - paycheck. I'm sure they need real $$$ every bit as much as I do.
Which is not to say that I don't complain. I just focus my disbelief, scorn and derision at PWE, the org that collectively makes the decision, rather than at any individuals. It's either do that, or - as others have noted - quietly just quit the game when my BS meter overflows and move on (Fallout 4 in less than 2 months now!!!!)
hey something that might actually be targeted at bots: from today's patch notes Ghost Stories: Removed a Thievery node and treasure chest that could be easily accessed without fighting enemies. only took a year...
@briseda I think you nailed the core Problem No fix only new content But the core problem for this fiasko lies probably in missing communications between some responsable persons that produce this game and do nothing than give timelimits and goals and the ones who have to follow them , even knowing that they run in the wrong direction
