    Since the last patch (today) my gameclient freez and doesn't react, i must deactivate him manually and start again.

    I have 16 GB RAM, Geforce GTX770 Phantom, Core i7 4790, Windows 7.

    Anyone else has problems? It is really only the game. Any other program and hardware works normal. The freez occures currently in lostmauth endboss area last phase.

    I can't even get into the game. Running the launcher as an Admin and it still says one of the files is locked and can't be opened for writing. Completely broke the client.

    I tested it now again, it seems it is the transition from phase 1 to 2 where the gold is flowing back. Don't know what it causes i will now stop playing lostmauth and test other parts of the game if the same error occures. A full forced patch of the game didn't helped at all.

    Same here. I get logged in(Maybe, if it doesnt freeze on the black Neverwinter loading screen) then maybe 20 seconds afterwards it freeze my entire PC forcing a hard reboot. My pc has 32gigs of ram, i7, and gtx860m ...as it started to freeze one of the times i was fast enough to get task manager open and see system resources were cpu 7% used, ram, 12% used...its not overloading my system.

    Since todays patch, I've been frozen several times today, maybe something went wrong?

    With my paladin I joined a fresh ELOL, at the moment I used Divine Protector my screen froze (was about 40 sec - 1 min from start).
    I then had to close Neverwinter, came back, and was still in the party. The game booted me from the instance in 5 seconds, then I could rejoin the instance, but again freeze. That happened 3 times and then I gave up.

    And another time, on my wizard, I had joined a demogorgon and we we're nearly finished (like 30% from final boss left or so) and then my game froze again!

    Anyone else experiencing the screenfreeze issue? Anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

    I am having something similar happen in IceWind Dale Heroic Demon Encounters. I've now had NW freeze up solid during or just at the end of three or four HDEs. NW crashed completely on all occasions and I got the Cryptic Error message panel when I got back to my Windows Desktop. I sent the error report in each time so hopefully they can see what is going on.

    Hi

    My game has a language set to Portuguese.
    The game translation is not perfect and many websites (like official Wiki) refers to English names (of course), I would like to have NWW in English. How the hell do I do that?

    restarted Computer, got some kind of small update (installed a .dll) and since then is running again.

    Hello!

    Playing my CW at the moment (or trying to). After today's patch, this is the third time GameClient.exe completely freezes with 40% CPU usage on an Intel i7-4770k. Usually while I'm casting spells and the meter is full, spell about to be unleashed.

    This did not happen at all yesterday pre-patch.

    Am on the Stronghold map while this is occurring, in the middle of a fight.

    Will update with more details if it happens under different circumstances.

    Game Launcher has "Verified" all files successfully, doesn't seem to have redownloaded anything.
    My next step will be to reverify through Steam.

    Confirmed. I never have game crash issues, but crashed 4 times today. Three times it happened while either changing toons or changing zones, once it happened while I was just sitting in PE working in a different program.

    Just had another lockup/crash in an IWD DHE. Not impressed. Interesting to note it has only happened when I am running my CW. Had no problems with my HR doing DHEs in DR.

    Me too. My game froze twice in 45 minutes gameplay. I was soloing in Icewind Dale when the screen froze and I had to reboot the game. Then 30 min later it happened again while doing a Demon HE. This is the first time I ever had to reboot the game during gameplay.

    Same problem here, but its every charactor for me. I can get in game but shortly afterwards it freezes my entire pc and requires a hard reboot. I have an i7 4710hq cpu

    This is an entirely different issue than the topic of the thread you posted it in. If you're whole PC is freezing, then you're not even seeing an "Error 36" message, which you quoted. I've moved it to its own thread and I suggest to contact Support about your issue in particular.

    Also got (for the 2nd time) the message "An error was detected by the game, would you like to reverify all files?" etc.

    Identical issue here when Maelstrom is cast. Havent checked any others yet. I have to shut down the game client manually. Assuming is a graphics issue.

    Me too. I had two freezes doing HE's in Fiery Pit.

    Just happened again using Maelstrom... and the above pic that @geethebluesky took... is also Maelstrom. It locks up the client as soon as it hits. It doesnt happen every time. About 1 in 4 for me so far.

    Impossible to play like this... please fix immediately.

    Yup... happening very often now. And only on Maelstrom as far as I can tell. This isnt a "may cause crash" issue... its a "Probably will cause crash" issue.

    Ok... here is the screenshot of the frozen client.



    Other powers in effect at the time this hits are Conduit of Ice, and Icy Terrain. I thought it may have been related to the massive damage this causes on large mobs... but as you can see from the pic, I hit a single monster with this which was almost already dead... still locked it up.

    EDIT: I just tried it on NO targets... same thing. I also tried it without my Flail Snail, and with no other powers activated first and running at the same time. Maelstrom alone does it.

    My performance monitor at the same instant shows 39% CPU usage... waaaay more than normal.

    Something broke with todays patch... please fix it fast.

    Another update... shut down all other applications. It worked 5 times in a row with no issues... 6th time... crash.
