Major increase in difficulty in Ghost Stories quest in Neverdeath?!

Not sure whats going on but I was doing the quest Ghost Stories that also fulfills the Common Cause quest that's in Neverdeath. As soon as the quest started it moved me from Lvl 61 to 70. This was a fairly easy task I did before to claim Arcane Lore for the campaign but last night I couldnt get past the first three guys in the quest. What the heck happened? Even with the new gift (Artifact: Latern) that was claimed next to Harper Boward for the MOD 6 release I was getting taxed.

Haven't had time to read up on all the changes with work and family but can someone please briefly explain what changes have happened in MOD 6 for quests? I did several other quests that seemed no trouble at all. Just Ghost Stories quest in Neverdeath. Any insight would be appreciated.

There sems to be some sort of bug regarding most (all?) "Common Cause" Lairs, you don't get the proper level upgrade, but the enemies do, so try doing them with a group for now...
At least that is what the PC guys are thinking is the problem.

That would make sense. Haven't been playing the game for long but I have to say it wasn't nearly as fun with the MOD6 upgrade last night. It seems as if thats a fairly common thread with several players across the boards. If this is the future of NW, I have to say I'm out. If they make it even more difficult to get AD or upgrade gear without having to constantly dish out extra loads of time/ cash I am out. I dont mind spending some cash because the game is free and overall I have had a good time. The Devs have worked hard on it and deserve to reap some reward but again if I have to grind and grind (spend even more time than before) to get upgrades or farm more and get less after the upgrade or constantly spend cash then its not fun anymore. Will give more time for the bugs/ issues to get worked out and try and be a bit more patient. Overall the first impressions were not good, at least for the Xbox One.

I can tell you this for sure. There will be a lot of people who quit playing this game just like the pc world did when mod 6 came out because this will be a grind without spending cash and it's not destiny so it's not going to be given away for free. But I personally like that. I've been telling our guild this for several weeks now. I've posted several things on our guilds forum page on things to do to prepare for this drop. There will be several areas that if you go into solo..... You won't finish it, you will have to team up with guildies or random. There are a few bugged items but that is to be expected with 4 dlcs at once. Don't give up. Get with some guild members and run those missions together. But it's going to be a grind to 70 without spending money so be prepared for it.

Looks like Leadership won't give RAD soon if we get the same treatment as PC, thanks for letting me grind my alts to level 20

Well, I don't think anyone can Bot on Xbox, could be wrong but I don't see how. SO I don't see any reason to remove the XBOX Leadership giving AD.

Somebody could actually make a mechanical device that would attach to an xbox controller and manually press certain buttons at certain times. Seems excessive and extreme (or maybe just dumb) but the point is if there is a will there is a way. Someone will always find a way to automate something.

This still seems to be an issue, at least in ps4. A difficulty increase I can handle, but I'm being KO'd with one hit. Ridiculous

And this is the xbox thread....but yes, once you go from 59 to 60 or whatever the trigger is, this quest goes way up in difficulty. Spend two days and hit 70, gear up and go back in there, or bring a couple friends.

Well if memory serves me right from the forums. PC abused the living hell out of these instances botting RP out of skill nodes. Perhaps just another had me down eff you to everyone.

I'd love to see the number of (real) players for each platform. I saw someone on PC saying the number online at peak times was around 3k!? That's terrible but I'd like to see how xbox compares - I'm guessing we have at least 10x that, which makes it all the more ridiculous that conditions on PC dictate changes on consoles when it should be the other way round.

Were you wearing all green gear like a new 65 that does not even have a decent companion or were you setup fairly well like an experienced player that might even be borrowing stuff from your other characters?

To be fair it does depend more on 2 factors; your class & knowing what you're doing when you build the character.

My CW had a lot of trouble at the lower end of the 60's, my DC was ok and my GWF & pally walked through it.

It's definitely still bugged. Tried it at level 60 and got my butt handed to me. At 63, with the help of a ton of potions and scrolls, I was able to get to the final boss and even able to take out most of his ads. But I could barely make a dent in him before he crushed me. Just decided to wait until I'm 70 to try again.

I still resent the Harpers for sending me on an obvious suicide mission.

A lot of people pre-70 just group up with others. There's always people asking to run it & it's obviously a lot easier with 2 or 3 of you.
