I guess you talk about active companions slots. As for hybryd style I dont know what you mean.
One Augment type Companion (Stones, Cat) I prefer cat, even if does not give power as default. It's reduce 25/50% falling damage comes handy at dragons.
Erinyes Cambion magus (you wont get this though) Air, Fire Archon Dancing Blade Death Slaad Blink Dog/ Int. Devourer
These are preferred.
My story is truly a grand tale! Of course, any story about me is going to be grand simply by virtue of the main character.
I have set of archonts - Fire, Air, Earth. Erinyes / Death Slaad - I use the former way more often though, perhaps because the DS is still green and doesnt have the AoE attack on 5 stacks. Cat as summoned companion, but planning on swapping it for Zhentarim Warlock as soon as I get 3 perfect bonding runestones and AD to upgrade it from rare to legendary - augments arent that great anymore, imo, but you need high level of bondings to make full use of non augments. I also hope they will lower upgrade cost at some point. Some companions have very interesting skills that are worth testing... if only the upgrade cost wasnt so painfully high, especially that some companions are hard to get and usually costly themselves.
That reminds me I forgot to run a test - I heard fire/air archont dont work together - as soon as target is <50% health Air archont damage bonus is replaced by fire archonts one, instead of being added to it. If somebody already tested it - I would be grateful for results.
has anyone tested the death slaad for TR? I heard its good for GWF but curious about us
I did quite a bit of testing with the Death Slaad, back when it was new (following the "nerf). From what I remember back then, it gave me about 12% DPS boost (give or take) at epic.
