Wheel of Elements Questions from a XBoxer

I"m on Xbox and wanting to understand the mechanics of the Wheel of Elements.

1. Can you use multiple elements at a time such as water and fire at the same time?
2. If you use one, say fire, can you go back and use water when the fire runs out or will the marks on the ground time out by then?
3. Can your teammates also use a mark you put down. Say you use the water and the teammate uses the fire one at the same time.

1. You can only take 1 element at one time.
2. No, once you get an element, you receive a debuff preventing you from receciving another one for 40~50 sec or so, the marks on the ground would disappear before that debuffs' gone.
3. Yes, other players can benefit from the mark u put on the ground, the mark is gone once a player's taken it.

And use it on flat open terrain if possible. S many times i've gotten Earth instead of fire because i used it to close to a wall, and then earth mark spawns rigth under me
