Oh there are 21 accounts in the guild, but most of the others left back at the time of the "dragonborn pack" controversy. So no clue if they are ever coming back. But the fact of the matter is, if you can make a guild with 5 accounts, things in stronghold should still be able to done by 5 people. In a reasonable amount of time. That or raise the minimum number of accounts allowed in a guild.

No guild can be built if the initial membership requirement is something like 50. Just saying.

That does not alter the fact that if the minimum requirement for a guild is 5 members, then there should be something within Strongholds to take into account that there may be guilds of that size. And enable them to get to a reasonable level within a reasonable amount of time.

With the amount of items needed now, even a guild with only 10 members, each with 1 character, it is still going to take them 7.5 days just to get enough adventurer's shards to even make the second building you need to build, the farm. Not to mention the month or so that it is going to take them to upgrade the stronghold to level 2. That to me is not in a reasonable amount of time, so the requirements need to be lowered for the starter buildings.

say, I buy apple , but if I like eat apple then I must collect 50x "Apple eaters" around me so I can eat MY apple... pineapples has no such requirements... I switch to pineapples.

    Easy.

For some having a larger guild is not feasible, because it is a family guild with kids playing and they do not want their kids interacting with the bad crowd that the game attracts. So you are saying those types of guilds are basically SOL in this expansion, and maybe all others afterwards because of it? There are legitimate reasons to want to keep a guild small sized, and Cryptic needs to make it reasonable for them to do anything too.

And some of those families can spend upwards of 1000 USD per year, so if those go to the pineapple land, then Cryptic loses out on potential lots of money. So not a sound business practice to me.

In the end, people play this game for different reasons, and they want to play the game their own way. This is forcing people, if they want to get anywhere, to play the game in a different manner than they want to play.

Nope, more like do what you can in the game, and let the chips fall where they may. That is about all you can do, and just hope that the boons and etc from this expansion are not going to be integral to the upcoming expansions.

And I imagine there is more guilds similar to the one I am in, than Cryptic or most people think there are. I would be willing to bet that over 30% of the "active" guilds are lucky to be able to have more than 5 people online at any given time.
