I can't tell for sure, but I feel the forum population dropped dramatically since the move to Vanilla. I also feel the main reason is the lack of an option for recent posts. I just found out today that we have a dev posts category. This forum is so messy that I can't find a thing, I might have missed where everyone went and my whole post is mute. But I'm pretty sure there isn't a recent posts option, right?
Would you like a forum option for Neverwinter recent posts? 14 votes
Yes, I love recent stuff.
No, I love chaos.

Yes. And no.
If you play more than one PWE game and have participated in more than on ARC Forum then what you see is a train wreck wish-mash of every parking forum you've ever looked at.
@O/P: Use this for Devs: http://www.nwo-uncensored.com/devtracker.php
As for general posts all you can do is visit each section manually. Threads with 'unread' posts are bold, if it's a thread you've posted into then it will have a yellow tag with "# New" on it, meaning that many new posts in there since the last time you opened that thread.
It's a sloppy solution to be sure, but what can you do? Easy: participate a LOT LESS. Hence: I suspect you are spot-on with the apparent lapse in forum participation.
The Reddit Neverwinter subreddit, however, has seen a real strong up-tick in participation, probably because a lot of forum participants have moved over there instead:

This - It's so jumbled and confusing, I can't find anything.
Also, in addition to the need for a recent posts thread and dev tracker (I do use the nwo-uncensored one, but how lame that the official forum doesn't have one), I really miss being able to hover over a title and see the first few lines of a post.
Not everyone crafts an informative title, and clicking on every title to see what they're talking about results in even more confusion the next time you visit, because of the bold/new posts/etc tagging. It's all just a jumbled mess for me.
