Lesser lifedrinker enchantment LS?

So, I got said weapon enchantment for my SW today, mainly because it was affordable and nominally providing a 1% bonus to lifesteal chance, which is basically +400 LS stat - a bargain for the price over any enchantment that'd do the same. (plus, sue me I'm poor-ish)

Anyway, what I found equipping it is that my LS chance listed among character stats didn't change at all - still at 10.9/11.3%, depending on whether my companion is up.

Is the bonus unlisted, or is it simply bugged?

I'm curious, and more than a little irritated.

For reference:
"You deal an additional 5% of weapon damage as Necrotic damage with your powers, and increase you life steal chance by 1%."

Enchantment never directly effect your stats, they're all hidden bonuses that happen when you deal damage. So, while you may have, say 5% Life Steal chance, when you hit with a weapon slotted with Lesser Lifedrinker, you *actually* have 6% but it will not show in your stats.

Thanks a lot. I suspected this might be the case, but have no way to test it, especially given LS is randomly procc'd

When you attack with it, an icon shows up on your buff bar and your % will go up until you stop attacking and it goes back to normal. It's not a static buff anymore.

i bought one for my second SW.. just because i was tired of my standard plague fire enchant.. we all had to start somewhere.. its giving you 5% more damage and 1% more ls chance , thats better then not having it!
