I already have a ton of seals/unused currency. I spent 2 hours in preview IWD waiting for BID to pop... and it never popped.
Last night the game was almost desolate. I was watching the NW Legit chat and demonmonger sat in the queue for KR... for over 20 minutes. He even said that PE was empty.

I'm waiting for the inactive companion cap to get raised above 96. I have a *ton* of unbound companions I'd like to train up.

You know the game is F2P right? What's the point of playing a free game if you're acting like you're playing a subscription-based game?
Leave, play other games. Do a quick profession run with Gateway once per day if you can, that's why its there. If you've been playing the game as you should, then there's no reason why you shouldn't take a few months off occasionally to do something else.
Everyone I know well who still plays disappears from time to time. Reasons vary from trying out other MMOs to playing PC RPGs/console RPGs, from taking a cruise to moving to Canada. The person who did that last one is a Legiter who still logs on maybe once a week, waiting for news about the next x2 RP.

Oh, and just because the game seemed desolate for you doesn't mean it was desolate for everyone else. I was there. Legit was desolate, other channels weren't.

You there. New to the game? Feeling overwhelmed? Maybe you think getting to end-game is impossible for a casual player like yourself, or maybe you just need to be around a community that helps each other stay sane and competitive with the latest news, current trends, random chitchat and most of all LEGIT (that is, we try to keep things fair) gameplay. If you don't mind being around quirky people and the rare occasional drama (one of our prominent TR members is apparently a mafia godfather) join nw_legit_community at http://www.nwlegitcommunity.shivtr.com/forum_threads/2330542.

Demonmonger said that PE and the everywhere he went was empty. I was in the preview server... in the Pass... I know that will be desolate.

I will be headed to an oldie but goodie that I played 4 years ago... Rift.

Skyforge was too much work to play the way I wanted to... like a rogue. To pigeon hole everyone into 3 classes for a while is going to cost them.
Tera is too hentai... for me. It almost seems creepy...

Mod Sux ruined the game. What do you expect? I use to LOVE doing all the dungeons now its way to hard and not fun.

I think the number of people that feel this way is growing daily. I have guild members that have stopped playing the game... and they just walked away. These players were on every day for a few hours minimum. Some of them have been playing since beta...

Regardless on how you fall on the subject matter, I would like to point something out, calling any mmo a f2p game and justifying it as a excuse for any actions by any company is flawed. Simply put, almost every mmo released today is f2p model to a certain extent.

There simply is too much of a grind level in this game.. in todays mmo modern market. They need to scale it down some, if for NO other reason, to allow playerbase TO at least play a second or third toon at a reasonable level.

    ATM thats not really possible.

They need to find a better grind balance. Thats not really my job to figure it out for them, that is theirs, Im just part of the playerbase calling BS on the current grind level atm.

    Woot, woot...

    Balance is over rated anyways.

Silverkelt, the only reason feel that way is because you believe in playing multiple mains. And I mean real mains, not just playable alts. I see no problem with asking the devs to support people who believe as you do, especially if the terms are reasonable, but there are also a lot of people who play with only one main at a time (relegating the rest to merely playable, until such time one decides to switch mains). It's a twitch-based game - there are some things you only learn through focus and experience.

People like me have absolutely no trouble taking monthly vacations from the game. Perhaps this is one reason why we actually don't mind playing only one main at a time. Meh.
Anyway, for the record you actually generate a lot more AD than me per week (you gave us an approximate once) and yet as far as I can tell my main outgears all your other characters.

    "Infinite Content"

Neverwinter comes with the Foundry, a dynamic toolset that provides you the game assets and a sandbox environment to create your own adventures. When your creation is complete, you can hook it up directly into the existing world for everyone in the community to play!

Of course since Cryptic has sooooo thoroughly botched up any rewards from playing foundry you have to be totally willing to be entertained by story -- and be able to actually find the decent foundries in their also horrid catalog implementation.
