it was fine in mod 5, if we got disconnect we could rejoin and complete the match without loosing it, idk who had the great idea about putting the ban on disconnects.
If a player left the match in dom pvp on his on accord he would have a 30min penalty now it seems every disconnect has the
30 min ban.

It's not a matter of "getting coding right". There is simply no way for the system to differentiate between a disconnect caused by other means and disconnecting intentionally to leave the fight.

The issue was that you could leave the map, go into pe and kick everyone on year on team and go back in again. You can't kick in the pvp map but you still could in pe. Hence the dilemma. Why would you boot everyone on your team? Leaderboard drama.

i didnt know thats how it worked but honestly just get rid of the kicking thing in pvp problem solved. make it so you dont go back to pe when you leave pvp til the match is over you automatically go back into the match.

Basically they used the same command you use in dungeons to get out and buy potions and kits so that they could get out without leaving the group. Or if they were less command savy they could have just swapped character i guess. If you disabled that command you cause other issues and might need to employ ingame gms to help people get out of weird situations like trapping themselves under the floor or what have you. I don't think that command pays attention to what map are you on. The kicking had already been disabled in the pvp map itself.
Could they make a better system, obviously but its also obviously an effort to output that matters to players choice they made not to do that
I know at some point I must have disconnected during module 4 or 5 but I can't remember what happened when you got back into the game. I think you found yourself back in pe with a return to instance button just like with a dungeon.
