Mounts - View Option?

If someone can help me out here. So, I got my first mount, the free Wolf, from the Protector's Party and I'm really liking it. What I would like to know is or where the mount information on the character sheet. Can you only have one mount or can the mount be swapped like companions? So far my guess is there is no view mount or multiple mounts option.

You are correct 1 mount at a time

Btw great observation, why not have a "stable" for mounts,

you whistle or summon them, not like they in your pocket.

Mounts are just like any item in your inventory. You can equip the one you want to use and if you decide to use another one you can just equip the new one and the old one will be moved back into your inventory. Unfortunately there isn't any way to view mounts directly aside from just looking at which ones you have in your inventory. You can't view them in their summoned state without actually equipping it.

Why wouldn't they do mounts like they do with companions? Just make it a tab and make the one you want active. I don't understand why if I want to ride multiple mounts I have to take up multiple slots in my bag. As it is, It's amazing to me the lack of space that a normal player actually gets to start the game.

I think it's pretty simple as to why it isn't in the game.

It could be that it wasn't a feature that the devs thought would be worth putting the money into.

Another reason which is one I feel is more likely is that there just isn't a demand for this type of feature. There are very few mounts in the game to use once you get to the more used 80% and 110% mounts and far fewer people who can afford more than 1 or two of these mounts. I'd say of all the people playing this game maybe only 5% would have any use for the feature.

I agree. This is a 'nice to have feature' and there is a 'work around' so development, testing cost would not equate to creating said functionality.

I was just wondering since mounts seemed such like companions they'd have their own screen.

    Thanks for the info.

I wondered the same thing if there was a mount stable? Question answered, thanks.

Companions are incorporated into game play much more than mounts are. Mounts are only useful outside of combat and generally only for travel. Companions are incorporated directly into your character and affect how you play so I could see why they would get more treatment. Also mounts only serve one purpose and that is to get to where you're going faster. Companions on the other hand have many uses and offer dozes of varying benefits and bonuses so I can see why companions would get a much more in depth treatment than mounts. This may change in the future as there are mounts coming out on pc now that can be incorporated into combat and have varying affects though I'd suspect it will be a long wait even if it does start to make sense.
