How to add animated gif's for avatar/picture? anybody know by any chance?

I put the gif on imgur then I put the BBCode into the text box they give you. Now Joan is always laughing.

Thanks! ok now what about the tiny picture? I have seen one or two with them as gif's too but no matter what i do I cannot get it to play, do they have to be a certain size or whatever? xD

I dunno I just picked the one I wanted and it was fine but yeah they probably don't want you uploading some 20 meg gif
