  • This. Also, adding JJTrek adds more variety. Variety in ANY video game is good.
  • I love my Odyssey. She's a giant, slow, space whale, but she has ample nacelles, and I love her! ;) I'm also one of those "odd folks" that really likes the Dyson Destroyer too, at least on my Romulan... the full console set along with the Solonae set makes it fun to fly.
  • A little bit of both plus some for me... 1500z - saved stipends 2500z - dilithium 6000z - wallet I hadn't planned on buying the mega bundle, but the zen sale coupled with what I had managed to grind out changed my mind. :)
  • T6 Oddy or Sovvy, either would do. BONUS: How about an updated tricorder animation? Get away from the 1991 vintage. ;)
  • This says it all here. Also, the odds of a properly set up data center experiencing a complete catastrophic data loss are EXTREMELY slim. Its highly likely that there are at least 3 levels of redundancy set up across each of the various components. Its not impossible, but the chances are so slim that it may as well be...
  • My list is simple and similar to others... 1. T6 Sovereign or Odyssey (either or both, I'm easy that way ;) ) 2. Some sort of exploration system 3. New FEs and more updating of existing FEs
  • I find the race to be easy. In fact, I use the sliding to my advantage by just releasing my controls when I get close to a curve and powerslide around it. When I'm about out of the corner, I start running again. Also, I cut onto the snow so I don't slide when running. Cutting corners = making your own straightaways. I'm…
  • A T6 version of the tac oddy would suffice for me. Keep the same weapon, console, and boff layout (including all current uni seats) - just maybe turn one of the Lt seats (pick one, doesn't matter) into a LtC Career/UniSpec seat. Standard T6 cruiser stats/mastery are fine, just increase the inertia to at least 30 and the…
  • basically, admiralty ships are like doffs. so, in essence, any time you claim a new starship, you get its corresponding "starship doff" for free. you can delete and reclaim ships all you want, you only get the "starship doff" once and you never lose it
  • * Main toon(Fed Eng)/main ship (T5U Tac Oddy) - as seen on TV. One torp in front (neutronic), one in back (the new FE one, I forget its name), all phasers * Main toon(Fed Eng)/secondary ship (T6 Fed Vet) - antiproton beamscort. iconian AP set (with torp) and 2 DBB in front, 2 AP Omnis and cutting beam in back * First Alt…
  • I rather liked the cold war arc actually. It was specific BS like that God-awful-should-have-been-flushed-down-a-urinal borg episode that made me want to drop-kick a kitten. :s
  • 44 here. I've taken advantage of many (almost all actually) of the freebies, have most of the event ships, and have bought my fair share of ships over the last few years. And my fleet had a few MU ships sitting in the bank. :) I need to get more of the MU ships...
  • I personally think that the Gal-X NEEDS to have some of the attachments (fins, lance, etc.) to set it apart - I just really dislike the 3rd nacelle. It just looks out of place on a Federation starship, IMO. Having the ability to remove the 3rd nacelle would be a good thing, just not all the other stuff. Maybe they (the…
  • New material keeps the game entertaining. As a 15-year MMO vet, I've gotten over bugs. ;) But without content, there's no reason to play or support the game. So my vote was for more story.
  • On this point, I agree. I'm flying a Tac Oddy also. :) I was tempted by the command cruisers, but they just didn't quite do it for me... same with this ship.
  • I gave it a C. I actually like the skin, and most of the stats are really good, IMO. Its just to damned Eng-heavy. Yeah, I could drop Command skills in the one slot, but I'm not particularly impressed with those either. Now if that LtC Eng/Cmd slot was a Tac or Uni slot, THEN we'd be talkin! And while they're at it, do…
  • I'm not sure if this has been asked for before or not, but how about the ability to have our combadges on our off-duty clothing? Even on Risa, both Picard AND Riker had their badges on them, so there is definitely precedent. :) And with a war going on right now, even a vacationing captain would have a way to contact him in…
  • I'd have to go with either Nicholas Boulton (Hawke from DA2) or Bruce Greenwood for my human engineer, and Jason Statham for my trill tactical officer. :)
  • Star Trek: TNG Pinball. I still stop and play that when I happen to see it somewhere.
  • How about an"independent freelancer" faction that can be races from any of the 3 main factions, is not affiliated with anyone, but can do "contract work" for them all (read: can do each race's faction quests as long as they aren't directly related to faction-only stories such as the tutorials). They would, of course, get…
  • Overall, I love them... they make me feel like I'm immersed in a game universe rather than just rolling a series of virtual dice. That said, having the ability to skip ones I've seen several times is nice. Not a deal-breaker, but nice.
  • I'd have to say my favorite screen uniform is the TNG Movie/DS9-later-season one. It actually looks like a practical uniform, and the combadge is fantastic. In-game, the Oddy uniform with the TNG-Movie badge looks the best to me. Like others, i didn't care for the white shoulder look for captains either though, so I went…
  • You'd get the exp off the kills, but not the dil, marks, or the big chunk at the end I would think. Personally, I find it better to just jump from system to system. May not be the "most efficient", but it adds variety to the grind...
  • 1-5. Bacon There is no other answer. ;) EDIT: Didn't originally catch that 5 was the best... I r SMRT
  • If you remove the combat log, those that are using it will simply find another way to log their numbers. Those methods may or may not be safe, and may or may not be considered against the TOS. All-in-all, it will cause more issues than it would conceivably solve. Just my 2 EC...
  • I voted for exploration, but I was really on the fence between that and more episodes. My biggest thing regarding exploration, is that it should MEAN something. For example, the rewards should be worthwhile enough that I would WANT to play an exploration mission more than once, but yet without overshadowing the other…
  • There's still plenty of time on the event for the year yet... couldn't one just claim, dismiss, then buy again and leave them in their boxes?
  • This is exactly whats happening. On one of my intel officers, she came with hooped earrings as default, which I do not own. So when I went to change her appearance, I had to remove the earrings. Once I did, life was good. :)
  • Saucer section pets are only really good for ignoring... the real reason to use saucer sep is for the turn rate boost. That said, I'd make my Guardian my primary ship in a heartbeat if it had saucer sep!
  • I'm still randomly playing with intel abilities as I switch to new ships to grind the mastery, and I went into grabbing SS2 off the trainer as a "why the hell not?" kind of thing... and holy TRIBBLE, am I glad I grabbed it! I almost don't need to use Overload anymore. Much love for this skill!
