Personally, I enjoy the change of pace in the summer event and don't find it a grind at all. I wouldn't want it to become like a warm version of Q's winter childishness. To me, THAT is a grind.
Risa will be interesting. At last I'll be able to get off the dance floor by jumping up on to the stage. Cats on hoverboards may be a bit too weird though.....
I was referring to the bonus dilithium awarded as part of the event, not for reaching level 10. It is usually 2500 per level, and was so as recently as two weeks ago when we had the last Admiralty event.
Something like this happened to me too, and I believe Kael has acknowledged that there is a problem with launching from Steam. Use the Star Trek Online.exe file instead and your problem is solved.
If Cryptic were really interested in solving the dilithium exchange problem they have surely had enough time by now to have done something. They haven't, so I assume they like it the way it is.
Something similar happens to me since the last launcher upgrade. Once you're logged in and looking at the character creation screen, just "escape" twice back to the login screen and log in again using your usual ID and password.

It sounds like speaker "Pop", but it only happens in STO and specifically on ESD, mainly in the area near the bank terminal outside Quinn's office and slightly less so in the open space between the tailor and where Q sometimes hangs out. It happens on multiple characters and instances. Also,…
So right. If Kael were truly interested why did he not post a thread himself? I can't remember the last time I noticed him grace these forums with his presence. One thing they could do straight away is stop making the problem worse with the never ending stream of sales and special offers. Cryptic know they already have the…
It's all a matter of personal preference. I like the Odyssey uniform and use it on most of my characters. I'm not sure how it looks "dated" when the TOS one apparently doesn't. I guess our tastes differ.
