Flashing background during login

It would seem that the background for the login is flashing between Klingon and Federation ON THE SIDE BARS of a widescreen.


Edit: Also during login i have both backgrounds overlayed, showing parts of both for a combined effect.

    I also see this quite often. Usually when it is loading maps.

    i see the side bare everytime i log in...so quite a bit with lots of boots

    I've seen this as well...though, oddly enough, I've only noticed it in the SOL system.

    Yeah, I'm getting this on most load screens as well.

    Yep yep, same here, it's enough to send someone into a seizure it is! The original background is overlaid by the black square screen with the logo on it and what's left of the planet and character select screen starts flashing madly... Quite disturbing!

    I'm also getting this but only on the intial load screen after selecting my character. After that no problems with the screen flicker.

    Same, The image is 4:3 while I am using a 19:10 display mode. I can see the 3D background from the previous scene and it tends to glitch and flicker as the game loads.

    I too have experienced the screen flicker after the character creation and loading into the game. There were also some odd flashing on my character's face when customizing the nose of my character when moving the mouse quickly over the options available.

    And, I did not even get the option to be klingon, I see no tab for it!

    But yea, lot of gliching when loading maps... soon after booted out or a crash...:(

    I believe you have to unlock the Klingon race and cannot select it as an initial character.

    Same here. Flickers after the character screen.. but I dont get past that. I get that map full thing. Been trying to get in all day T_T
