Crystalline Prism & Crystalline Spike kit module - can only equip one

Maybe it's a bug, maybe it's by design, but either way it would be nice to have clarification from the devs. As of right now you cannot equip a crystalline spike grenade (considered Tholian I believe) and a crystalline prism (pahvan) at the same time. They are completely separate kits, doing different things and would be great if the game treated them that way so you can equip both modules. Nowhere in the description of either kit module does it say anything about the prism being the same as the spike. My guess is whoever programmed the prism used the spike's code as a starting point.
