      Klingons probably works better with Feudal Japan due to the armor and weaponry. Plate mail and broadswords just don't fit with what we have seen with Klingons.

      Also Feudal Japan makes more sense because it can be argued that the Shoguns who controlled territory could be compared to the Great Houses.
