How would you upgrade it from t5u to t6?

Full temporal commander seat?

Pilot or Intel secondary?

I'm surprised they haven't released this already. Easy money imo.

Ha, wouldn't be surprised if they placed that ship in an R&D pack - they'd have to up the EC cap again...

Wait, I shouldn't be giving them ideas should I.

Id love a full temporal seat...But Im torn between Pilot and Intel for a secondary seat..or another temporal seat..

The T6 Temporal Science Vessels will come, just as they update all the other lockboxes. What's interesting now though is that the Wells' inherent niche has been overtaken by other ships at this point.

Following what happened so far the T6 Wells will have the same console as the T5 version, just called "Enhanced ... (Tippler Cylinder or what's it called)". I'd say it gets LTC Uni/Temporal and Lt Uni/Intel, everything else stay the same as the T5U version (some more hull and the usual).

The temporal stuff - the only canonical "Timeship" is not a timeship in STO and specialist timeships already exist

Niche wise it is one of the few ships that can go all out science, not too many of those around (5 cosoles, CMDR, LTC Sci/Uni).

I meant hull increase from T5 to T5U, you are right the T6 will basically be the exact same T5U ship with specialist seats added

The problem with the current wells is that, for optimal effectiveness, you really need to slot the full Temporal Warfare Set. And that means a sizable (600) lobi expenditure on top of the cost of the ship (which lately, has become quite affordable on Exchange).

A "Wells" - or R'Mor, in my case - is only fully unleashed when you combine it with the Temporal Inversion Field (TIF) bubble. I've seen it used offensively to decloak players in arena and otherwise wreck havoc on the opposing team.

TIF the closest thing to a Sci "I Win Button" that I've ever encountered, and I know that my own R'Mor is diminished because it doesn't slot the set. Quickest way to make me pony up for a T6 version would be to include an updated Tipler Cylinder that includes TIF or, barring that, make the TWS components available to be sold piecemeal via Exchange.

Also, can somebody confirm what is the set bonus when you slot both Tipler and the Manheim Device from the Temporal Destroyer (Mobius, Talvath, etc)? Because the tooltip makes it sound sort of like TIF, but I'm not about to spend 400m EC to find out.

And WTF is with the Destroyer pricing lately? A wells can be had for 60M, and I never see anyone actually FLYING a Mobius in Arena. So why the premium price?

Note: I own both ships...just not on the same toon! Doh!

SO..I've Flown a Mobius in the Arena..But I cant seem to make it as effective as the escorts im fighting..

They do!? My sample size is fairly small but When I go into a 5v5 I almost always see at least 1 Wells and a JHSS in PVP (Fewewer when the temporal stuff was OP). I almost never see the Recluse these days and have yet to see one in Core Assault (The wasn't player operated)..That could be due to the players involved tho...I mean..You are nearly impossible to kill..

So the Fragmentation Set 2 Piece is a 5km Hold when the Tiper is activated. The Temporal Warfare Set (the Lobi one) isn't really necessary at all, especially with all the cooldown reductions we have available. The Temporal Fragmentation Set..Freaking Evul in the right hands..

Like most Ship sets ..The ship they are made for typically makes them alot more effective *Stares angrily at the Dominion Console Set*

I know I still use my recluse in PvP. So that's 1 recluse.

PvP aside (which could do with several fixes which I won't go into here), I would point out that a logical move would be to make available for requisition a new upgrade token, which upgrades a T5(U) ship to T6, provided the latter incarnation exists. This would be a guaranteed seller, without the ethically-dubious gambling nonsense.
