Game crash after update 12/11/15

I have been trying to play for the last 25 minuets and no dice. Every time and with all my toons I am in game my screen goes black and my speakers make a weird sound and poof no game. And it's not just STO, ALL OF MY GAMES ARE DOING THIS!!! I was fine last night. But after the upadate I can't stay logged in for more then 5 minuets. Please help.

    Can be one of these:

    *Microsoft DirectX is not properly installed on the computer.

    *The driver for your video adapter needs updating.

    *The driver of your sound card needs to be updated.

    *Your monitor does not support the rate of game screen refresh or is not configured properly.

    If the issue persist i recommend you try a search on google.

    Found the problem. Video card was going bad. So I replaced it. problem fixed Close this thread out please.
