Hi. I've returned to STO after a long hiatus, and the thing that got me the most was just how bad the Tuffli's been rendered useless. The R&D's changed, the transwarps are gone.
What needs to be put back on the Tuffli, barring the transwarps to the sites, are a contact that would give all the missions to the old clusters. This was the main reason for the ship's popularity, and needs to be reinstated so these ships can return to their former glory.

But first, the Breen Set engines are broken on this ship.
It is a lot of fun to fly in Counterpoint Advanced though, it turns like a beast, draws all the aggro and feels good to transport teams with.
...don't ask me how I ended up there in a tuffli.

I can't pretend that when I'm especially bored, I will take it into a fight, just for fun though ;-)
Thing is it is the only ship in my roster that I use every time I play. Bank/Mail/Exchange/Ship Selector, all in one place, and I made my EC back on the thing a long time ago from all the DOffs I've gotten from the special DOff missions available there.
All this, from the quiet of my own ship. I've never taken it into combat, but maybe someday. It's cloaking device might be handy for that...
It has a cloak? I'm guessing it's not battle, but oh, how I would love to get a gang together of Tuffli's and Cell ships and do an STF ;-)

Just (literally) jumped into my Tuffli, and the transwarps to the nebula clouds that replaced the exploration sectors (Rolor, Delta Volanus, etc.) are listed under alpha quadrant or beta quadrant, respectively.
And I checked out the rest of the Tuffli's power list. Summon U.S.S. Contraband Kitty? Check. Base amenities on the interior (mail/bank/exchange)? Check. Bob's Discount Commodities? Still sellin'. Shady Ferengi Guy? Still wearing his trenchcoat, and talking me up about Rolex. All DOff Department Head Contacts on one deck? Yep.
So yeah, I cringe a little on the way to Bob when I see the defunct R&D Console, but only losing one power isn't gonna break the reason I invested for her in the first place...

Nothing needs to be fixed, then, since the Transwarps are all still there. Go to any space map in your Tuffli and open up the Transwarp menu, all of the nebulas are listed in submenus under Alpha Quadrant or Beta Quadrant.
Join NoP Public Service. People periodically call out requests for Tuffli invites (usually Cell ships for the special DOffs, but once in a while, someone needs to shop...) That's about all the "hotbed of activity" we're gonna get unless they radically rebuild the Doffing system yet again...
What I've been a bit more desirous of is "go to freighter bridge" so that I don't have to ship-swap just to visit my bridge...
