Server UP ... and down again.

Server UP ... and down again. Logged in and was immediately disconnected and now I cannot reconnect to the game server.
In the immortal words of Captain Sisko: "It may not be what you believe, but that doesn't make it wrong."

Don't believe the lies in this forum. I am NOT an ARC user. I play STO on Steam or not at all.

    Yeah. If this is "improved stability" i'd hate to see what instability is like.

    Same here, i got the "unknown Reason" message again. Guess they brought it back becuase of the great demand

    The server is up, it's just running really slow.. just like the forums.

    I'm getting the "log in failed for an unknown reason" again when trying to log in. Anyone else getting that error?

    i like how maintainance as usual was at the worst time for those of use in europe took longer than expected (sh*t happens) and when its back up i log in and get "Login failed for unknown reason" error which i personally never got before and this patch was SUPPOSED to fix

    Good job cryptic good job :(

    these people are an absolute joke and only interested in money, this is now a f****g joke server back up and im still getting server not responding on my toon it gets to 94% and that's it it stops, I WANT MY F*****G MONEY BACK great way to treat lifetime subscribers

    I hate to say it, but it was bloody working better before you guys fixed stablility issues, so there was the occasional lag spike, but at least it connected, lol

    I had "Login failed for unknown reason" once, now it just keeps disconnecting after being stuck on "Retrieving Characters". :(

    yeah, nothing working here too... i get to the char selection screen and thats it, after that the client trys to connect but fails

    i am getting in the the game but after the loading screen i get stuck on retrieving list of characters and thats as far as i get until the connection times out.

    Looks like the "login failed for unknown reason" error is back...

    I've spent nearly 4 hours of my day off trying to log into STO. First maintinence, then extended maintinence, now login error. Plus EVERYTHING is moving at a snail's pace, from the game trying to log me in to the forums.

    I'm not sure what broke, but it needs fixed. I'm very quickly starting to regret my Legacy pack purchase. I vowed after the mistake I made buying Lifetime subscription, I'd never give Cryptic another dime unless they stopped being so.....terrible (those around at launch know what I'm talking about).

    I took a chance with LoR. Looks like I'm getting burned.

    Yeah I haven't had a single major issue with this patch (LoR), No "login failed for unknown reason", patching was fine, even pre-patching had no issues whatsoever for me.

    Log in after patch, and bam "failed for unknown reason".

    Best idea I've seen in these forums in a while. I'm turning off the PC and grabbing a bottle of Maker's Mark now.

    I'll check back in a few hours ... if I'm not too wasted to play. :D

    Unknown Reasons, yet again... Seems like they could've at least changed the error message to let us know they found it to begin with.
