Bug Report: Mission: Ambassador Escort

I was doing the mission that requires me to escort an Ambassador from Sol to a Vulcan monastery.
After the Ambassador was revealed to be a member of species 8472 and I forced it to run away, I decided to do a little Klingon hunting.
After heading out of the main gate I fought my way through two groups of klingons and then I turned left to look for more, I eventually got to a point that was not at the edge of the map but the game said that there was no map for this area.
I then beamed up to my ship except I did not go to my ship, instead I reloaded on the map in the same location I was just in except my character and away team were all invisible and no matter what we did none of the enemy NPC's would attack us.
I was able to complete the ground portion of the mission with no further problems.
