On Caitians, the tail sticks out for about a second too long after a jump. Caitians go through three phases after landing from a jump:
1. a landing stance,
2. a transitional stance, and
3. the normal stance for the character.
During the transitional stance, the tail sticks out behind the character. How noticeable this is depends on the character's normal stance. For instance, it's less noticeable with the feminine stance, because the character moves between phases 2 and 3 by changing her stance. But with the standard stance, the tail sticks out noticeably during phase 2. Because the transitional stance is the same as the standard stance, the tail appears to hang in the air while the character isn't doing anything between phases 2 and 3.
