Why no Mirror Quj Dreadnought Cruiser?

I've been recently wondering why they made the Mirror Styx dreadnought cruiser a universal faction ship, it doesn't really make sense for a klingon to be flying the ship and it still uses Magee frigates for them, a federation/terran design.

In Peril over Pahvo however we're shown the mirror klingons invading us have Qoj dreadnoughts. I don't see why those couldn't have been repurposed as a reskinned Styx for Klingon players to fly and it would work perfectly, just slap a cloak on the Qoj and give it the Styx's stats and Klingon Disco Bop hangar pets and boom you got an easy marketable ship for klingons with minimal effort.

    The mirror crossfield isn't cross faction and the mirror escort carrier isn't cross faction. And the styx still uses Magee frigates. Why make those 2 ships fed only?

    They didn't do it because it's a Klingon ship.

    Despite having essentially the same amount of DSC Klingon and Starfleet ships currently modeled they've made the decision to only release three. One prior to AoD to get people to spend ready for it, and two in the pack, possibly to make it slightly less of a really bad deal it still is.

    There are enough of both factions ships for them to have released them all as two packs in various places. Crossfield/Qoj LB/LS for example and Magee/M'Char, Cardenas/BortaS bir, Shepard/Qow C-Store, Conni/D7 Promo box and so on.

    But that would have involved considering the KDF so they didn't bother.​​

    JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

    They talked about this on the livestream.

    While the Mirror Crossfield is a Terran ship, it is a ship that is also a Federation ship, and can be made to look exactly like its Federation counterpart, and CBS has said no to Klingons flying Federation ships because of IP reasons. The Styx is a Terran only design, and not something in the Federation fleet, so its fair game for both.

    These sorts of rules are why even Fed alligned Romulans and Jem'Hadar don't have access to many of the Federation costume options. CBS has said those have to be limited to Federation characters only, and there is no such thing as a Romulan Republic officer, or Jem'Hadar officer, in Starfleet, only some aligned with Starfleet, so they can't wear them.
    I was actually rather surprised they made the Styx cross-faction, considering they've been pretty consistent in making everything Terran Empire Fed-locked whether or not it looks anything like Starfleet whatever. But since they had only that one ship on this lockbox round, I guess they didn't dare pull a Vengeance/NX on it.

    Well, most mirror ships are mirror versions of Federation ships, so it makes sense they would be Federation only.
    It doesn't make sense, but if CBS has issued an edict agaist "looks-like-fed," it would fall under that. However, their clothes don't look the same as Federation clothes, yet are Fed-locked nevertheless.
    Still, out of the 25 or so Mirror ships, 6 are for Klingons only, and 6 are for Romulans only.
    Speaking of, the T5 Terran Empire ships are among the few they didn't enable for Fedroms with ViL...even though they enabled their Starfleet counterparts. Weird.
