I just tried to craft 5 PADDs. This requires 5 Thoron particles. I had 1999 exactly, in two stacks of 999 and one stack of 1. When I set the number of PADDs to 5, the start button was highlighted, but it gave an error when trying to start the crafting project. It wasn't until I split one of the larger stacks that I was able to start the crafting project.
The system is able to correctly determine that I had enough Thoron particles, but was not able to deduct it off two stacks, or find one stack that had enough in it and take off that. It simply went for the last stack in the list and when it didn't have enough issued an error.
