Jem clained ships cannot be claimed by other allied factions

All faction ships purchased and intially claimed under Jem'Hadar characters generate error if attempting to claim under any other non-Jem'Hadar character. For example, I purchased the C-Store T6 Ship LAFAYETTE-CLASS RECON DESTORYER and claimed and opened it under a Jem'Hadar character. For all other allied non-Jem'Hadar characters, the ship in the C-Store shows 'Available' and 'Claim' button shows accessible. Clicking on 'Claim' for non-Jem'Hadar allied characters will generate the error 'Unable to complete transaction: that item cannot be currently purchased'. Again, only ships initially claimed under a Jem'Hadar charater are generating this issue. Logged ticket 180929-000654 and they just want to close the ticket stating they don't know how to fix this known issue.
