what is the max number of slots you can have of active ships?
I hate to do "me too" posts, but I would really like to know the real answer to that question too.
Googling it does not help much since it is contradictory and often talks about additional slots without mentioning what is there to begin with. It LOOKS like for free active slots there are six or seven once you reach endgame, plus maybe an extra ship slot each for the Ambassador and the shuttle you get from episodes, along with possibly another few from how many days you have played the game or something to that effect.
There was mention that getting event ships is essentially free because they come with their own slot or something like that. One person said that if you have every event ship ever along with all of the leveling and scenario ships you would have 22 total before paying anything to get more slots.
The "hard cap" on the other hand, the maximum number of ships you can have active from any source (including bought slots), is something around fifty or sixty. Knowing how database tables work I suspect that the absolute number would be 64 minus any overhead that takes lines in the table.

For Dry Dock:
https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/9610473-star-trek-online:-dry-docking
"Lifetime and Gold Members will be granted 10 free slots, and Silver members will be granted 5 free slots. Additionally, 300 total slots can be purchased at 400 ZEN per 5 slots."
Edit:For some reason I didn't see vetteguy904 mentioning dry dock slots, so appologies for the redundant post.
