    I'm a bit sad that ot doesn't unlock the frigates, but I'm ok with it. Seems like a good compromise.

    I knew it. I called it as soon as they announced the fact that players get an upgrade token as part of the rewards for leveling. What other ship could have possibly needed one?

    Though I am curious how it will be 'different' though its probably just a gimped version of the existing one with lower stats, fewer BO seats and something to that effect.

    How so? Its the canon ship of the faction, so it makes sense that it would be available, but as a lesser version so as not to TRIBBLE with the lockbox sales too much. Kind of an attempt to meet people half way without TRIBBLE over somebody completely

    That aside, the clear intent is that when the player levels up they'll buy one of those new T6 ships in the packs to replace it

    I have flown my bug ship for (T5/T6) for 5 years flat and love it. I have beaten deadly PvE encounters and shredded ISA PvE with 200k+ with it. This thing is my Enterprise in STO!

    I love the idea that everybody will have a chance to enjoy aspects of it with the new release. :)

    The fact you can't even unlock the frigates is sad. I can understand not giving away the T6 ver but not the T5 one. Oh well just showing how worthless the JM are going to be outside of being forced to play one to unlock the new ships.

    Yeah I know the way... Phoenix Box. Buy T6 lock box ship. But old T5 Lock Box ship.

    Not a huge fan of unlocks being tied into other ships and really not a fan of gamble box ships being needed to do it which is why I was half hoping they'd allow it.

    Wondering why not, given how inept the hangar pets are half the time specially cannon based ones.

    Been flying my T5-U bug since I came back to the game about a month ago. Love it on my fed tac officer. Shame about the lockbox winners gouging the exchange with silly asking prices, when other T6 Infinity prize ships fetch circa 300-350k, but hey ho, one day the T6 will be mine :)

    Newsflash: the bug doesn't come from the infinity pack. It only comes from the promotion packs, and that is why it sells for as much as the other promotion pack ships (like the TOS connie for 1+bil)

    My bad. I thought the bug had been added to the last revamp of the Infinity lockbox. I've not played STO for quite some time until recently. Seems to be a glut of them on the market currently, whereas before they seemed quite scarce.

    I don't WANT to fly that ship i want the frigate PETS. and it's rediculous trying to RNG them just put them in the C store already FFS

    Wow, people are getting a free ship that others paid hundreds of dollars for. And they STILL complain. Some of you need a positive outlook like the OP has.
    When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

    not everyone likes Escorts Online. the JHDC is one of the best carriers in the game, IF you have frigate pets. to lock the pets away like they have is just STUPID
