Saved mini-map zoom levels are not being loaded

I'm fairly certain this bug dates back to Season 6. There are two problems:

(a) The commands /ui_load and /ui_load_file do not load the mini-map zoom levels saved by /ui_save and /ui_save_file.

(b) The mini-map zoom levels for ground, system space, and sector space are linked together: changing one of them changes them all.

Running commands

To run a command, type the command in the text input box of the chat window and then press the Enter key. Commands given in quotes should be typed without quotes. The command /ui_save_file saves the character's UI settings and key binds to a file named by the user. For example, "/ui_save_file ui_test.txt" saves this data to the file ui_test.txt. If you do not specify a directory in the path to the file, then /ui_save_file will write the file to the default directory, the location of which depends on where you installed the game. On my computer, the default directory for Holodeck is

C:\Games\Star Trek Online_en\Star Trek Online\Live

and the default directory for Tribble is

C:\Games\Star Trek Online_en\Star Trek Online\Playtest

The location on your computer may be different.

NOTE: Sometimes, there is a delay that prevents changes from showing up in a file. You may have to wait a few seconds and then run /ui_save_file again.

Steps to reproduce

Problem (a)

1. Log on to any Federation character.
2. Go to Starfleet Academy.
3. Zoom the mini-map all the way in.
4. Run "/ui_save_file ui_test.txt".
5. Open ui_test.txt and read the line containing "eaRegionScales Ground". It should say

eaRegionScales Ground 3.000000

Close ui_test.txt.

6. Zoom the mini-map all the way out.
7. Run "/ui_save_file ui_test.txt".
8. Open ui_test.txt and read the line containing "eaRegionScales Ground". It should say

eaRegionScales Ground 0.2

9. Change the line containing "eaRegionScales Ground" to

eaRegionScales Ground 1.500000

Save your changes to ui_test.txt and then close the file.

10. Run "/ui_load_file ui_test.txt".
11. Notice that the mini-map zoom level has not changed.
12. Beam up to the Sol System.
13. Zoom the mini-map all the way in.
14. Run "/ui_save_file ui_test.txt".
15. Open ui_test.txt and read the line containing "eaRegionScales Space". It should say

eaRegionScales Space 0.125714

Close ui_test.txt.

16. Zoom the mini-map all the way out.
17. Run "/ui_save_file ui_test.txt".
18. Open ui_test.txt and read the line containing "eaRegionScales Space". It should say

eaRegionScales Space 0.012571

19. Change the line containing "eaRegionScales Space" to

eaRegionScales Space 0.600000

Save your changes to ui_test.txt and then close the file.

20. Run "/ui_load_file ui_test.txt".
21. Notice that the mini-map zoom level has not changed.
22. Warp out to the Beta Quadrant.
23. Zoom the mini-map all the way in.
24. Run "/ui_save_file ui_test.txt".
25. Open ui_test.txt and read the line containing "eaRegionScales SectorSpace". It should say

eaRegionScales SectorSpace 0.117333

Close ui_test.txt.

26. Zoom the mini-map all the way out.
27. Run "/ui_save_file ui_test.txt".
28. Open ui_test.txt and read the line containing "eaRegionScales SectorSpace". It should say

eaRegionScales SectorSpace 0.011733

29. Change the line containing "eaRegionScales SectorSpace" to

eaRegionScales SectorSpace 0.050000

Save your changes to ui_test.txt and then close the file.

30. Run "/ui_load_file ui_test.txt".
31. Notice that the mini-map zoom level has not changed.

Problem (b)

1. Log on to any Federation character.
2. Go to the Beta Quadrant and put your ship outside the Sol System.
3. Zoom the mini-map all the way out.
4. Enter the Sol System and then beam down to Starfleet Academy.
5. Zoom the mini-map all the way in.
6. Beam up to the Sol System.
7. Notice that the mini-map is zoomed all the way in.
8. Warp out to the Beta Quadrant.
9. Notice that the mini-map is zoomed all the way in.
10. Zoom the mini-map all the way out.
11. Enter the Sol System.
