Cryptic you sneaky...

You know all that talk about wanting to put in the Constellation cruiser in the game?

They did it. Partially, but it's there.

It's called the Mirror Heavy Cruiser's saucer.

    That ship has been in game since launch, she is called the Cheyenne Class. :)

    No, no, no. I mean, get the Mirror Heavy Cruiser. Go to the ship customization, choose Advanced and, under the Saucer option, there's four saucer options and one of them is Constellation. Here, I'll try to get a picture up.

    Edit: never mind. That's been in there forever. Nobody cares too much about the constellation.

    So, go check out the ship tailor if you own a Federation Heavy Cruiser or a Defiant! I'm quite liking my new Constellation saucer section...

    The Saucer of the Stargazer. Not sure about the Defiant pieces.

    I hope not, it's a really nice looking saucer. Anyone know if these parts unlock for regular heavy cruisers as well once you've bought the mirror? Yknow, something with ten consoles, something fleety perhaps?

    maybe, but i don't think so, since the defiant saucers at least were named "gallant refit" and "vigilant refit", maybe you're supposed to unlock them if you own the fleet versions or something.

    They were mentioned by a Dev on twitter so I doubt they'll be taken off. I'd upload a picture, but server's down...

    The Gallant has been immeasurably improved.

    Looks like it's a full model update, not just new pieces.

    They look amazing now, might use one of them for my fleet defiant. now to see a pic of the new stargazer stuff.

    Looking at the new gallant confuses me.
    And I like it.

    Edit: Thanks for the post, I'll see if I can find that screenshot on the constellation from earlier in return.

    Its the Starfleet Corps of Engineers. As long as it doesn't involve putting safety rails in the right places, installing fuse boxes or properly working holodeck safeties they can do anything.

    That's pretty neat, but I hope it doesn't preclude the possibility of a separate Constellation class (preferably flight-deck) cruiser.

    All looks pretty cool. Except the nose on the Gallant. It looks tacked on and out of place.

    Makes me think of the male flying saucer from Batteries Not Included. Pic.

    I gotta say I was wrong, and was thinking of something else. I guess that skin wasn't in-game before. Was able to check stowiki and it didn't show it, though I'm pretty sure I saw something just like it at some point in-game.

    Couldn't find this post to go back and correct myself until now. Forgot where it was.
