A New Ship has been added to the Ship's Available looking for crew! The USS Ayanami is set for Mondays at 11AM to allow GMT players a ship to come join in on the fun with!

The storyline of the 22nd Mobile Daedalus is an on going story of several ships and their crews career development in Starfleet. Candidate join the fleet by requesting a character to play and the skills they wish to bring to the starship group. Games are conducted much like a SIM or DND Game where a Game Master interacts with players as the universe. Characters will develop relationships, and over come challenges much like an typical episode from Star Trek as you will explore strange new worlds, and boldly go where no one has gone before.
Each ship meets one night a week for role playing so commitment to the fleet is roughly 3-4 hours a week. There are many other types of events that occur and there is a huge PVE membership. So getting help with the game is very easy when join the fleet.
We are currently featuring our own Fleetbase, Starbase 220 - Under the command of Rear Admiral Brian Donaldson and Rear Admiral Miranda Kavalek! This has become a hub for role playing between episodes. Allowing for more socializing in character. We have done such with places like Earth Space Dock, Risa, but now we have centralized private instance for the fleet community.

Lastly. The Mobile Daedalus is looking for creative story makers that would like to help out our GM Team to create story lines for the ships to role play through. The task is challenging as this requires a balance of IC and OOC knowledge. Though the rewards for such is that you'll be conducting a storyline you wish to be seen played out by characters, and made cannon to the Daedalus Role Playing Group. As such we are always in need of a Good Game Master. So please let us know if this is somthing you would enjoy doing

Just snuck in to give our little fleet a bump and update on a few things! The fleet just began its 8th season and things are doing well! The Sentinel and Adagio are as always right in the thick of things in the Tau Dewa Sector and the newly discovered Sphere!
The Pilgrim is still fighting her way home from the Gamma Quadrant but has a good solid crew to see her through!

Talia quietly walked across her bridge after leaving the turbo lift. She barely nodded to Lt. Commander Carter as he rose from the command chair. She entered her ready room silently as she left the bridge to him. She closed her eyes a moment and tried to shake away the horror of what she had just seen. Their faces, their quiet dignity...
Their pain and fear.
She left her lights off as she crossed over to the room's lone window. She looked beyond the transparent aluminium out to the almost blue and green world beyond as her ship orbited over the ruins of a once happy and proud colony.
She had initially gone down below as she had always done before. To oversee the hard efforts she had asked of her people. Never the type to remain on her bridge, she always went where she had directed them. In harm's way or in simple hard work, she had felt this was not just required of a good leader but needed. To show her crew she would not ask them to do anything she herself would not do.
When she had beamed down to the underground bunker, to the place where her medical and security teams had been freeing the colonists from the bio-organic cocoons, she had not been fully prepared for the inhumane treatment that the alien being had inflicted on his victims.
All around her she watched as her people lifted the dead or near dead to stretchers,Task Force Delta memebrs holding up those who tried to stand, emaciated, thin as skeletons they resembled those who had been found dead. Their gasps for breath, their raspy requests for water still tugged at her heart now as she stood alone in the dark.
She closed her eyes tightly and still the images persisted.
She saw Mr. Hicks carrying a dying little girl in his arms as he rushed to the beam out point. She watched as she saw herself walking through the triage teams as Dr, Jarril and Dr. Mason worked with other Adagio doctors and nurses to save as many as they could. She watched again as she saw Anja support a man who could barely stand look for his child and wife.
She had nodded to each of the survivors who had thanked her and even managed to return the hug of a woman survivor who could not express through her own sobs her gratitude. Talia had let Tech Specialist Collins take the woman away to the triage center that been set up in the chamber. The chamber was soon being filled with the echoes of harsh coughing and barked orders from her medical staff, accented by the sounds of transporter beams sending patients up to the ship and sending down more of her crew to help. The sounds of the voices were at once chaotic as they were ordered. The voices surrounded her as she continued to walk through the chamber of horrors.
Most of all she could still hear the harsh whispered voice of the dying man she had knelt beside to give a drink of water. She remembered how her heart felt when Medical Specialist C'Rune, her own ears flattened against her head shook her head in answer to Talia's unspoken question of whether the once young man would live.
So she sat there as her crew worked around her and the man lying on the stretcher. C'rune moved off to take care of yet another surivior recently pulled from the cocoons. Talia stayed by the young man who took her hand. She can remembered her whispered lies to him that he would be all right as vivid as she remembered his final request.
To not let him die alone.
So she stayed, she held his hand and awaited death with him. She grasped his hand tightly as if a brazen dare to death to just try and take this victim, and kept his gaze as she kept vigil beside him. Their wait was not a long one, as she watched what little light the creature had left in that brave young man slowly ebbed out. Like a dying ember its glow simply went out and grew dark with cold. She had kept his gaze right up until she closed his eyes.
She barely remembered Ensign Kya'Bia's touch on her shoulder as the Aenar and crewman Miller had come to take death's most recent victim away. She nodded and stood, showing no emotion as her people took care of the boy. She then proceeded as she had before. She checked on each of her teams and their progress until all who could be treated down here had been and those who could not had been beamed aboard. She remained behind even as the final detail had finished sending the dead up to the ship.
She had stood in the center of the room, a room that had been filled for more than seven months. Seven months of mental torture for 9000 colonists, with no food or water. Just enough nourishment to keep them alive so the creature could feed on their terror and fear. Like a parasite it had fed on their misery for more than seven months. She felt her strong emotions begin to rise and she forced them back down, swallowing them for now as the last of her crew policed up their gear and began to make preparations to return to the ship.
She had been the last of the crew to return to the ship. The last to return after all of the colonists had been evacuated. She had gone straight to the bridge from her ready room. Along the way she had recieved basic reports from each of the departments that were dealing with the stricken survivors and had acknowledged each. Careful not to show how she truly had felt, careful to keep it all deep inside. Careful not to show a moment of it to her crew, remaining strong for them as well.
As she stood there looking out over the wounded world below, she continued to reflect. It had taken just under the seven hour estimate Dr Jarril had give her. She was deeply proud of her crew and how they had handled this. The dignity they maintained for the colonists. The effort they took to safeguard what lives they could after this horrible tragedy.
She felt the exhaustion now begin to take hold of her, the stress of playing her hunch when she went rogue with the Adagio, the anger she felt as the truth came to light, the rage she felt as those that had caused this disaster and tried to cover it up had forced her to place her own people, her own keth in danger to reveal it. Now she felt the horror and deep sadness that they had not been entirely on time.
She had not acted fast enough. She did not save everyone. She tried to let out her emotions, yet found she could not for some reason. Perhaps she was just too tired now to show it she thought as she leaned her head forward to the cool feel of the glass. She closed her eyes once more and whispered to the voices she still could hear as clearly as if they were in the dark beside of her. She whispered to each of those she had not been in time for.
"I'm Sorry"
Beyond her dark solitude the crew of the Adagio maintained orbit as they took great care to ease the suffering of the thousands of survivors they had managed to arrive in time to save. Soon, very soon the great ship would be eased from orbit and make its way to Starbase 234 to ensure the survivors healing could truly begin.

Current on going storylines going into our 8th Season of RP Arc are as follows :
The USS Adagio is currently on the hunt for a lethal and cunning Pirate force that attacked a Starfleet Medical Cruiser and seized the crew and patients, only to learn one of the Ship's Doctor's is the husband of the Lady A's CMO! Also the lead Pirate may also be the lost child of the Adagio's Master Chief. With such drama and danger on the horizon the Adagio moves on to the next stage of confrontation with this new murderous band of Pirates!
The USS Pilgrim is still lost deep in the Gamma Quadrant and is currently making first contact with a new possible allied Government while collecting some much needed raw materials! All of this while experimenting with a newly acquired propulsion method to try and get back home!
The USS Sentinel is getting back on their feet after a devastating run in with the Tal Shiar and a shakeup caused by the following JAG/SFCIS Investigation. They are currently returning from a devastated colony dig site with a unknown and possibly dangerous artifact aboard...with more danger on the horizon!

So she stayed, she held his hand and awaited death with him. She grasped his hand tightly as if a brazen dare to death to just try and take this victim, and kept his gaze as she kept vigil beside him. Their wait was not a long one, as she watched what little light the creature had left in that brave young man slowly ebbed out. Like a dying ember its glow simply went out and grew dark with cold. She had kept his gaze right up until she closed his eyes.
She barely remembered Ensign Kya'Bia's touch on her shoulder as the Aenar and crewman Miller had come to take death's most recent victim away. She nodded and stood, showing no emotion as her people took care of the boy. She then proceeded as she had before. She checked on each of her teams and their progress until all who could be treated down here had been and those who could not had been beamed aboard. She remained behind even as the final detail had finished sending the dead up to the ship.
She had stood in the center of the room, a room that had been filled for more than seven months. Seven months of mental torture for 9000 colonists, with no food or water. Just enough nourishment to keep them alive so the creature could feed on their terror and fear. Like a parasite it had fed on their misery for more than seven months. She felt her strong emotions begin to rise and she forced them back down, swallowing them for now as the last of her crew policed up their gear and began to make preparations to return to the ship.
She had been the last of the crew to return to the ship. The last to return after all of the colonists had been evacuated. She had gone straight to the bridge from her ready room. Along the way she had recieved basic reports from each of the departments that were dealing with the stricken survivors and had acknowledged each. Careful not to show how she truly had felt, careful to keep it all deep inside. Careful not to show a moment of it to her crew, remaining strong for them as well.
As she stood there looking out over the wounded world below, she continued to reflect. It had taken just under the seven hour estimate Dr Jarril had give her. She was deeply proud of her crew and how they had handled this. The dignity they maintained for the colonists. The effort they took to safeguard what lives they could after this horrible tragedy.
She felt the exhaustion now begin to take hold of her, the stress of playing her hunch when she went rogue with the Adagio, the anger she felt as the truth came to light, the rage she felt as those that had caused this disaster and tried to cover it up had forced her to place her own people, her own keth in danger to reveal it. Now she felt the horror and deep sadness that they had not been entirely on time.
She had not acted fast enough. She did not save everyone. She tried to let out her emotions, yet found she could not for some reason. Perhaps she was just too tired now to show it she thought as she leaned her head forward to the cool feel of the glass. She closed her eyes once more and whispered to the voices she still could hear as clearly as if they were in the dark beside of her. She whispered to each of those she had not been in time for.
"I'm Sorry"
Beyond her dark solitude the crew of the Adagio maintained orbit as they took great care to ease the suffering of the thousands of survivors they had managed to arrive in time to save. Soon, very soon the great ship would be eased from orbit and make its way to Starbase 234 to ensure the survivors healing could truly begin.

The storyline of the 22nd Mobile Daedalus is an on going story of several ships and their crews career development in Starfleet. Candidates join the fleet by requesting a character to play and the skills they wish to bring to the starship group. Games are conducted much like a SIM or DND Game where a Game Master interacts with players as the universe. Characters will develop relationships, and over come challenges much like an typical episode from Star Trek as you will explore strange new worlds, and boldly go where no one has gone before.
Each ship meets one night a week for role playing so commitment to the fleet is roughly 3-4 hours a week. There are many other types of events that occur and there is a huge PVE membership. So getting help with the game is very easy when join the fleet.
We are currently featuring our own Fleetbase, Starbase 220 - Under the command of Rear Admiral Brian Donaldson and Rear Admiral Miranda Kavalek! This has become a hub for role playing between episodes. Allowing for more socializing in character. We have done such with places like Earth Space Dock, Risa, but now we have centralized private instance for the fleet community.

Current on going storylines going into our 8th Season of RP Arc are as follows :
The USS Adagio is currently on the hunt for a lethal and cunning Pirate force that attacked a Starfleet Medical Cruiser and seized the crew and patients, only to learn one of the Ship's Doctor's is the husband of the Lady A's CMO! Also the lead Pirate may also be the lost child of the Adagio's Master Chief. With such drama and danger on the horizon the Adagio moves on to the next stage of confrontation with this new murderous band of Pirates!
The USS Pilgrim is still lost deep in the Gamma Quadrant and is currently making first contact with a new possible allied Government while collecting some much needed raw materials! All of this while experimenting with a newly acquired propulsion method to try and get back home!
The USS Sentinel is getting back on their feet after a devastating run in with the Tal Shiar and a shakeup caused by the following JAG/SFCIS Investigation. They are currently returning from a devastated colony dig site with a unknown and possibly dangerous artifact aboard...with more danger on the horizon!
