Small T1: down from 3000 to 2000 Medium T1: down from 4000 to 2500 Large T1: down from 5000 to 3000 Small T2: up from 3000 to 4000 Medium T2: up from 4000 to 5000 Large T2: up from 5000 to 6000
+1,+2 rings: down from 3000 to 2000 +3,+4 rings: down from 6000 to 4000
Guild armor stays at 1000 per piece.
Since this is a little blurry to me (probably just me but whatever), here are the results from test for specific levels of gear - feel free to reply with what you have salvaged on test or fill any gaps:
Sounds about right. There is also purple appearance change items that drop in CN. I think they are T2 since they have the same item level as current T2 gear. They should be saved also unless you can sell them for much higher than the current salvage value.

In brief, they've made all salvageable blue items "T1" and all salvageable purple items "T2". The change to Underdark rings makes them go by color instead of having values higher than other pieces of the same quality.
This is also a boost for a few odds and ends like the epic off-hands that can drop in Celadaine (formerly M5 "T1 epic" value).
If you have any kind of M5 level 60 T2 epic equipment kicking around your account, it will lose significant salvage value as well, as it's currently worth more than any level 70 epic equipment. If you've been holding your Fallen Dragon/Fomorian weapons, or any T2 set that's not High Vizier, it's time to make a decision. Sigh. (This is my second edit: These items will be worth marginally more in a 2xAD event than they are right now, if you continue to bank them. Ex. Avatar of War torso is currently 10k but would be 12k in the future if-and-only-if you keep it until 2xAD.)
Edit: M5 T1 epic gear benefits from the increased salvage values for purple stuff.
all i see is "down 2000" for pretty common drops and "up 1000" for rarer drops.
even considering them having the same drop rate 1000-2000 < 0 . but since calling things with their name is not allowed i ll limit myself saying we will earn less ads.
