Extended Maintenances this week

Champions Online and other Cryptic games are going to have extended maintenances this week. The current expected maintenance schedule is as follows (all times are Pacific time zone):


Tuesday, August 7
5-9am (Expected downtime of 4 hours) (no patch)

Thursday, August 9
5am-12pm (Expected downtime of 7 hours) (patch)​​

    This better have an Eido fix. It's been months since the last successful eido run.... I think.

    Fix = -15% hp on green orbs to make up for the huge resist bump, and then it should be at least doable.

    Fix also= Getting rid of the ridiculous 50 victory perk requirement

    Devs should take a look on how many Eido runs done for this several month no matter win/loose from log.
    No matter succeeding are possible or not but I can say its so impossible to find enough people even just for a challenge.

    The perk req isn't so bad, so long as you can do it reliably, I think I have the 50 on five chars. But if you can't run it, then there's no progress.

    Orbs at Ape? Eidolons' influence grows and grows. Soon, Skynet ... er ... Eidolon ... will take over all Champs zones. Bug or design? You decide.​​

    the setup is secret in order to get it done, then the cry rings out, "Eido is up, bring your strongest DPS."

    It'd be fine if it was account-wide (is it?) but since I suspect it isn't, it's pretty alt-toxic. I can understand wanting players to show mastery of the content in order to gain access to associated rewards, but 50 times is a bit steep.
    (Hopefully) Useful CO Resources: HeroCreator (character planner), Cosmic Timers/Alert Checklist, Blood Moon Map, Anniversary Cat Map, and more (eventually, anyway).

    The perk is awful especially now that the boss is bugged
    I only need 11-12 kills for a single character, at this point I completely lost my interest getting the collar costume piece

    I was expecting to be farming for vehicles I don't really need and power level low level alts in the Open Mission using double xp that'll never play!

    May have been saved a few hours of insanity.
