In the future, I'd love to see an Odyssey version of this bodysuit. I now recognize that uniform as being Trek so variations of it for my Feds would be nice. Even if its a C-Store item. A skin-tight metallic Odyssey body armor would be wicked cool.
Shouldn't the blue Federation color be leaking into the yellow-green Cardassian space since, according to STO lore, Bajor officially joined the Federation in 2393? I expect after the Dominion War, the Federation continued to expand its territory while the Cardassians either froze what they had prior to the war or gave up…
Prettyy sure this has to do with the fact 73% of the player base are Feds, 16% Klingon, and 11% are Romulan. Since a buttload of man hours goes into creating a ship, it only makes sense they cater to those who actually buy said ships. You don't build a cars for robots if most of your customers are androids. In addition,…
While the new CBC's are certainly better than the Ody stats-wise, the T5U Vesta is STILL better than the T6 Pathfinder as far as I can tell. Oddly, the T5U Long Range Science Vessel Refit is also still better than the T6 Pathfinder. More hull plus an additional console.
Another Quality of Life Improvement: Remove unnecessary confirmation pop-ups. Yes, I get it. You want to make sure I wanted to do X before letting me do X. Still, there are quite a few unnecessary additional confirmations to the confirmation. Like at the ESD Ship Vendor: ME: "Hmm. I'd like to take a look at some starships,…
Exploration for me means a new sector with fog of war and multiple worlds, asteroids, space stations, and anomalies to investigate. On one world, you find the remains of an ancient civilization and must determine what happened to them. On another, you make first contact and must solve a dispute. Elsewhere, on a seemingly…
Right now, the Risian ships are on my chopping block should they release a must-have ship anytime soon. Next would be the Breen escort and tge the cruiser. I'd keep the Battle Crab though.
Add Fog of War to exploration sectors and ground maps, hide unique encounters in them that have unique rewards (like unique technologies, items for inside your ship, clothing, boffs, doffs, etc. and searching every nook and cranny becomes a must.
Please stop using Twitch TV for videos. They are not Android compatible and their app for Android is an unsearchable mess. Use YouTube or Vimeo at least until they get their [REDACTED] together. Anybody still using Flash for video in the age of HTML5 might as well wear a loincloth and carry a club. Oh, and T6 flagships…
No, there are 3 ways to get it: 1. Have a Science Captain craft it for you. 2. Buy it off the exchange. 3. Switch to a Science Captain toon, craft it yourself, and either mail it or put it in your shared account bank so your other captain can get it. Nelen Exil having it just means you don't need to train him in it. Your…
If they'd create "Personal Holdings" in all these areas i.e. Bajor, Vulcan, Andor, New Romulus, Defera, etc. then they'd have an excuse to update them and we'd have a reason to go back to them. Let us purchase/earn and housing units in those areas and have doing so reward us (maybe like a rep system) with traits, special…
The biggest disappointment for me was that this end cap to the Delta Rising story arc did not, unlike the Worf and Tuvok episodes, end with a "holy TRIBBLE!" cliffhanger nor did it give even the remotest hint on what happens next. At the very least, it should have set things up for the next arc.
After completing Reunion, Friends in Unlikely Places is not accessible. Skip and Hail are greyed out. Going to Jenolan Command to speak directly with the listed contact does nothing. In addition, the model for Galera is now a short-haired Bajoran woman with a nice pair of shades. Plus the Romulan, Mena, also has shades.
Its much like the story of the teeny tiny minnow that was swallowed up by a bigger fish only to be swallowed up by an even bigger fish which got swallowed up by a shark which got swallowed up by a whale, which got swallowed up by a Klingon Bird of Prey and transported to a future Earth by Kirk and the gang. Only the fish…
So the easy solution would be for them to create a Support Cruiser Refit with optional Probert skin and sell it in the C-store. Equip with Temporal Displacement module for a quick jaunt into the future for an instant ship heal by the Enterprise-D.
I have those plus the Scimi and Vesta 3-packs so I too may be paying through the nose. So far, however, they have not released any information on whether or not 3-packs will get a discount. My guess is that they probably won't if they price them at $5 a pop and will if they price them at $10 a pop.
Kurland here. Kurland here, come in. This is Kurland. Kurland. Kurland here. Kurland. This is Kurland. Kurland here, come in. Kurland here. This is Kurland. Kurland.
That's a shame. This is a missed opportunity by Cryptic to get easy money from me on a ship that would otherwise make them zilch since I'd easily spend $5 for the fleet version plus the T5U cost. Not willing to spend $20-$30 though on anything that isn't a T6 at this point though.
I was one of the few people who found the way in there when it was still being built and not as nice. That darn raised floor prevented us from getting any further. And yes, it was fun being in there when we weren't supposed to be. Just like taunt-dancing in front of a certain fleet admiral. I wonder if Kirk got the same…
So will the free T5 Ambassador be eligible this time for the 75% fleet module discount? If so, I will get the fleet version and then the T5U Fleet version later.
I don't even know why you two are arguing about this. Clearly, the answer is to have only a single weapon type in the game: "Caustic, Destabilizing, and Disruptively Polarizing Platonic Phaserizers". As for the procs, they'd be random and unreliable, leaving you wondering "Will they or won't they?" every time you fire. And…
