I understand cruisers want DPS. But this overcap needs to "knee capped". If it can't be removed make it apply to broadsides only, get rid of it for AoE. If cruisers want to the damage of escorts give them an arc limit for overcapping, call it battle efficiency but only works with 8 beam broad sides in the 250 degree arc. :D

Cryptic needs to do some real match making in the queues. I have been in matches where it was 5 escorts versus 5 cruisers/sci. I was in another where it was 2 escorts and 3 bops versus 4 wells/mobius and something other. Most of the matches I have been in it was mostly out balance one way or the other.

I ran into a ship last night that was an A2B fawker with a strong FBP talk about annoying you had 10 sec window to kill him before he had his faw and FBP back up. Then he had to balls to brag about damage in a 15-2 loss and he was half the kills.
Same here. I made all the changes. Given my computer is as old as the game but I am still above recommended settings. Maybe once I get the new build done I will see.
