I might be in the minority, but when I asked for a T6 Constitution I did expect something like the Exeter and not literally the old TOS version. Almost every other style of ship in the game has a T5/6 variant that updates the design and brings it up to contemporary standards at endgame, so why not the Connie? I happen to…
While the JJ movies lacked substance, but so did Enterprise, most of Voyager and pretty much all of the other Trek movies (with a few obvious exceptions). There was also a time when TOS fans all but boycotted TNG for not being "real Trek" and the same thing happened to a lesser degree with DS9. You don't have to like it,…
I've been waiting for a top tier Constitution since launch, it was literally the only thing that would have got me to spend actual money on the game, but there's not a chance I'm going to gamble for it, especially if that means it's only available to one of my characters. So yeah, I understand why they've done this, but it…
I'm not a purist by any means, I think the "Odyssey" style ships they've been adding recently have been the perfect evolution of Federation ships. They looked like an advancement of what we were used to seeing on TV, while still keeping the same basic style and fundamentals. These completely throw that out the window and…
Yes it was bad, but how hard would it be to improve it? Add more variety and randomness and it would have automatically been a lot more enjoyable, with the potential for some really fun and crazy things. I'm not sad that it's been removed, so much that I'm annoyed they didn't try to fix it or replace it with something more…
Considering the Klingon's still feel somewhat lacking, I have a hard time believing they'd jump in and make a third faction so soon.. But man, if I'm not excited at the possibility. It'd definitely bring me right back into the game.
Guild Wars 2 has no factions, just lots of players working together. There's no reason it can't work, most developers are just too lazy to deviate from the basic template games like WoW have created.
