For easier but less verisimilitudinous access to the bartender and other duty officer mission dudes, your shuttle craft has a console to chat with them all at once.
That /also/ sounds like a bug! Nice in this instance, but it could conceivably try to skip from Ultra Rare to the next one past Epic. Which is the Undiscovered Country.
Despite the patch note today "Resolved an issue which would sometimes cause the shield to not drop at the beginning of Undine Infiltration.", I still experienced this issue. It was on Elite, the second time running it of three today. The first and third had no forcefield when I beamed in. The third popped up the intro…
Sick Bay: Ultra-rare mission! I suppose it is, depending on how good you are at selecting duty officers. (Or how good the AI is at selecting them for you)
Downside: the narrative was interrupted regularly by being told 'you need to go do something else for an hour before you can do the next thing'. Particularly obnoxious on Kobali Prime where I could go walk to the next thing, but no one would talk to me. Also the tricobalt devices exploded me from behind a lot, very…
I would enjoy having things to do inside my ship. (I am using a large Federatiion ship with a real interior, so I'm unclear on the complications of others.) Not even combat maps, I enjoy the fleet starbase dailies that involve hunting down vagrant PADDs. Not...every day, but I like exploring and feeling like I have…
Undine Colony Invasion does not grant Undine marks; they're clearly invading, but Counter-Command doesn't care. It remains a fun mission that I'd like to see expanded!
I am also interested in having a Cryonic Mortar. With the new kit module system it'd be easy to create, even. The mortars just take so very long to land...
The new frames are, quite literally, better in every way. 5 power slots and improved powers, and then you get skill bonuses based on the frame rarity. You may need to grind the Assimilated mission awhile, but the new model is superior. No need to discard the old one until you have a complete set.
Hm. I remember noticing that my boffs have been getting out of the battlezone mortar markers this season. They'll stand around the edge of the circle even if there's something to shoot on the far side.
I've had this problem intermittently throughout the life of the game. Season 9 added it to the deactivating the full impulse button. Quite embarrassing!
It is the introduction mission, much like the ones guiding you to Alpha Centauri and Gamma Orionis. The rewards are a pittance of skill points, why would you want to replay it?
Tac Team used to restore crew, but it doesn't anymore. I'm not sure why. I'm okay with the "store everyone in the transporter buffers until battle's over" solution.
Housing! Even the golden trophies on a standard bridge are weirdly limited. I tried to make a timeline of my ships up to admiral promotion, but most of the ones in the middle were missing.
That's not Quinn's gun. We know what Quinn uses: https://www.dropbox.com/s/85f3m21l4ckxl2r/9900_screenshots_2012-09-30_00001.jpg A gigantic blast phaser cannon. (In September 2012 when Klingons got onto Earth Spacedock)
Not the undine DOTs, I was sitting there staring at a big red 40000 floating upward from my exploding ship. In a Chimera Heavy Destroyer with 35k health, that is a problem. And I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do about it.
