  • I'm just wondering if this will have the T6 Fleet version? I tend to buy these T6 ships, unlock the trait and get the fleet version to upgrade it. Can't find it in the ship requisition list (yet?)
  • Spot on. USS Toilet reporting for...duty? Does anyone know if Doug Drexler has been involved with the Abomination Trek ships? Because most of them (I'll admit the Janeway-class has promise) look like rejected drawings from parodies.
  • You do know that I'm talking about ships that aren't the refit, with refit parts, who don't own the refit...right?
  • While you're at it, can you fix the broken Crossfield Spearhead Refit nacelles? Apparently your last patching gave all Crossfield ships the ability to use all the skins from each ship. Seen a few Regular Crossfields with Refit and Legendary appearances, for example.
  • Well, I came on here to find out if ARC was acting up again. Seems it's not just me. Darn.
  • There is definitely something wrong with the game launcher now. I've been having the same problems. Black screen of death with the cycling mouse pointer and no 'Cryptic' upon launch. I can't force the application to close either. (Have to hit the windows button and restart my laptop). I've noticed ARC is showing me games…
  • Anyone remember the old mission with Thomas Riker's son? Can't remember the name for the life of me. I do miss Saturday's Child, as it gave some weight to the OG, Fleet Admiral Leonard James Akaar, whom they also took out of the game. Also the Guardian mission assets should certainly be re-used, even if they aren't tied to…
  • #1 no doubt. I did like the idea for #2, but the front of it looked too much like a current day tug boat.
  • Well, this could be the only thing I can appreciate from Star Trek Discard, so far. Someone getting the Commodore rank right. Make it so.
  • There's a current problem with the new ships (at least the Federation one). They aren't gaining any ship experience. Edit: Scratch that, it's just not showing up as it happens. You have to get to a new map for it to show. Odd.
  • Once a year? No. More than once a year. Heck, I'm all for once a quarter of a year. The prize pack is what helps with upgrading my equipment the most.
  • And just like all things Duhscovery, it doesn't work.
  • PvP should die. It doesn't belong in Star Trek, which is about co-operation in the shows. The antagonists (NPCs) are the threats. This need not be like EVE, where the game is solely to satisfy psychopathic tendencies in online behaviour, that you can't get away with in real life, for laughs. And PvP in this game does…
  • I know I'm beating the dead horse here, but I just need to echo what most everyone else is saying, because I want to make sure the devs get this crystal clear with enough voices: Please make the Bridge Officers and the combat pet account wide and not once per account. Every pack that has included bridge officers before has…
  • You've missed the point and you're quite wrong. The Excelsior is NCC-2000 in the 2280's. So it just makes sense that a ship that was near to it in that point in time should have a closer registry number. And as Starfleet makes more vessels, the numbers do go up. That's why they were using 5 digits by the latter 24th…
  • I like the Endeavour system as it is. As someone who has 0 interest in 'builds' and min/maxing, it gives me something extra to log on for and work towards. The problem is these competitive players who think you have to play only one way and one way only. They max that s*** out of things that break the game, use only what…
  • By the by the DIS division colours are Gold (Command), Silver (Sciences) and Copper (Operations). Basic metal values from fantasy coinage.
  • Ah, whew. I thought it was just me where Hold Torch isn't working on my alt DIS character after unlocking it on my main TOS one.
  • If a Dev ever wants to be gracious and give out say, one of those Leeta holo Boffs, we'd be happy to send our receipt from the event to you as proof. Just saying. *wink wink, nudge nudge* Oh wait, they probably won't read this. Still, I hope the event well. Looks like they almost raised the 5K goal when I donated Sunday…
  • I donated and got well...nothing. *shrugs* It's just a little shame, since they usually give out a BOFF code or something during these charity events to everyone who donated, regardless of streams, etc. I think that's my only real issue: The context for giving something has been done for a few years, so changing it to some…
  • This is the kind of thing Temporal affairs should be correcting. (Anyone remember that line of '..is an abberration', from the Timeship Captain in the Enterprise-C mission?) Although this isn't the only time the game has removed missions. I remember an old one with a Cardassian prison and a certain son of Thomas Riker for…
  • Major problem with this. How would the 'Discovery' era character manage to instantly recognise a real 24th century Klingon and not those Orc things, that aren't even the Human-augment virus ones of the 2260's?
  • I'd much rather the liberated borg be a 'template' we can add to any of the playable species we have access to, for us Lifetime subs. Not just for Human, Romulan or Klingon as non-lifetimers might get. How would that work for existing characters? Simply add on the visual options in the tailor, and patch in the current…
  • To be honest. I wouldn't shed many tears. It's be sad sure, but I wanted the original concept of the game. That of a mix of an RPG (Like Star Trek Adventures) and Bridge Commander. Wanted to be working in a ship with others. Not being the actual ship and doing everything myself. When someone starts developing that game,…
  • Anyone taking bets on when it'll actually be up? This is one of the times I'm glad I live on the same time zone as the game.
  • In a Perfect World this shouldn't happen at all. Oh...wait. *sigh*
  • What I want to know is how the show (when it comes out and we know more) will affect STO. It's going to be set in 2399, so that's currently 11 years before it. I'm going to assume (because of CBS's daft habits) that it's going to be nothing like the events that led up to STO. Unless there's some major collaboration between…
  • And this is exactly why I have a problem with Discovery being touted as 'prime'. It's a conflict of TOS. Nothing matches up. Agents of Yesterday pretty much confirmed STO's stance on the 2260's. For the Federation that means the old Velour uniforms and old-style ships. For KDF that means Klingons in retro-virus Humans and…
  • Now if only we hadn't been stuck with the Toven Boff taking up valuable space. And on that note, will Romulans ever be able to use additional faction Bridge Officers, like the TOS Holographic crew and Android 0718?
  • This is exactly how I feel about DIS. It just doesn't belong anywhere else but the already upgraded (and Bald Klingons as well) JJ Trek universe. It's still a great Sci-Fi (if not Kelvin Trek) show. And the CBS defenders are just sad. There's no independent thought process in that argument that "CBS makes it, so it must be…
