I have been using my Scimitar as a torp boat too. Our builds are similar. I do not use Plasma at all because I seem to kill myself as much as the enemy with them. I have been using the Advanced Swarmers with great effect. I have a Klingon Engineer with the Wing Commander trait. If you are going to have a carrier you should have this trait! I just learned this a few days ago. I make about 300k EC per day just on the foundry missions. Search the Foundry Missions for "farm" Play that mission. When stuff stops dropping you have reached your daily "loot" cap. Hop out of the mission Sell all the green uncommon items to a vendor. I get better prices for that stuff…

The original poster has the same ship and fighters that I do. Mine launches 3 at a time 6 per hanger 2 hangers for 12 of the little buggers.

You do realize that the Avenger does not come with a cloaking device. Even then its just a cloak not a battle cloak. I find that I don't use the cloak on my Defiant Refit. Id rather have a different console in its place.
