Yeah, 85k Hull isn’t too hard to vape. In PvP you have to equip traits and abilities that act as brief immunities to spike damage. And then you need to use placates to disrupt their fully buffed attacks. Finally, science team away all those nasty debuffs you got hit with. Then you can fight back. It’s not like PVE where…
Well, I’m glad you enjoy being the feds token trill. Why would I have any problem with Gorn and Naussicans serving the Empire? Klingon rule is brutal, but unlike fed rule, it is honest. We do not hide behind diplomats and treaties to enslave worlds. We use might and Klingon guile. That way, there is no question who is…
There is no bigger threat to the Klingon Empire than federation lies and deceit. For centuries, the federation menace has expanded, becoming a legitimized cartel selling slavery, homogenization, and servitude disguised as peace. It is little more than a sapiens-only club, and its member worlds foolishly sacrifice their…
I’ve been accused of doing this twice since getting the walker console. Thing is, I’ve never even tried it. I don’t think people know what they’re talking about.
If your KDF warriors wish to join the feds then they should be executed for treason. Not all Klingons accept this so-called “alliance” with the federation pataQs. In fact, some of us are fighting daily to remove the federation from our border in Ker’rat. As the bodies pile up, laborers fill the mines at Rura Penthe, and…
Despite forum trolls and their fabricated outage, i.e., “remove PVP,” “section it off from the rest of the game,” “PvP is dead,” etc., PvP is doing quite well these days. In the past two weeks I have counted more than 100 regular players (players who PvP daily or semi-daily) in Ker’rat, and that is just on the fed side, so…
Sorry just saw this. Replied your PM. Come join us in fellowship and debauchery on the House of Beautiful Orions discord; https://discord.gg/SNs6xQD Anyone else looking for a place to hang is welcome, too. Though, as a PVP Klink fleet, there will be a lot of taunting the feds for their corrupt policies and attempts to…
Accusing me of insults, yet comes to the official forums to say STO isn't a real game. Fair enough. Nobody is saying you have to do anything. But I have a right to come and promote an aspect of the game I care about without being called names. Can anyone actually say that PVP-related posts get a fair treatment in these…
It seems like they’ve significantly reduced loot drops since the latest patch. I got zero salvageable items from one of the foundry farm missions, and the place with the swarmers in Dyson used to award a bunch, but out of 20 drops there 18 were lockboxes, one was a battery, and one was actually a salvageable item. Anyone…
Cool! Thanks for the advice. I never had any problem killing things, even though I put so much in dodge and healing as a tac. But I was the sole survivor for 30 seconds at a time when herald traps were one shotting everyone in the late rounds. I found it was best to wait until the round started in one of the four back…

But it's a lot of Technology and UI time we've got to prioritize for other game improvements, so for now it's a "maybe someday, we hope" sort of feature. > > As for additional R&D storage ... well, just to give…
This has got to be a troll post... Quit the game because you didn’t understand how calendars work two years ago? (Events aren’t just arbitrary game elements. They run on a schedule.) Saw a patch and immediately gave up and vowed never to play again? (I imagine you seeing the word “patch,” throwing your hands in the air,…
I actually did it twice. Once on the toon mentioned above and again on my Klingon science toon last night. I don’t have a screen shot handy but I do have the HoS title on both toons if you want to find me in game.
Keep several on active space status to store gear. Unlock traits and dry dock all remaining tier sixes. Dry dock any tier 5-U’s you might actually play with. Gather useful consoles and dismiss the rest. You get to keep admiralty cards for ships that have been dismissed.

I believe it was Foucault’s repressive hypothesis which stated that cultural taboos around sexuality result in power structures which regulate and reinforce morality. Power Creep in STO could be read similarly: OP item gets…
I’m not going to quit PVP over this or I would have years ago. In fact, if PVP goes I will probably quit playing the game, as other players are the only enemies I find challenging after so long. I don’t say that to brag. But space NPCs (hitpoint sponges) just don’t do anything for me. I actually prefer ground PVE over…
I’d like to see a new ground battle zone and a super elaborate ground social hub. I really liked exploring the New Romulus and Nimbus maps hunting for the accolades, actually lost track of time doing it. Would have liked to have seen more done with the colony holding. Visually, it is stunning. But once you start poking…
I wasn’t complaining. Complaining would be “wah, wah, this mean fleet of cheaters are using a broken ability to make my op p2w ship less vicious.” I merely described a scenario in neutral terms and gauged public response. Some people actually like conversations and differences of opinion so that they can figure out where…
Thanks for the feedback everyone! Seems to be the consensus that there is no way to cheat at the game unless an item/ability is officially broken and acknowledged by the devs as such. I’ve always held off on things like the dyson rep shield refrequencers, tholian sticky web, and these a2s doffs because they can be used to…
Factoring in preferential targeting its looking like I’m going to activate at least 3-4 abilities from cloak before firing my barrage. Thanks for the tips. I welcome any more you might have!

Four Superior Upgrades would cost 4,300 Dilitium to apply and whatever it cost to make it. Those four would give you the same number of Tech points 4@12,800 each. Going the Exchange route…
