Response from Support regarding the ticket raised: (Private correspondence removed. - BMR) I have no issue creating a new character.....but it doesn't help that I collected the server downtime compensation on this character! I have responded to support asking if this is able to be transferred over to a different character.

So it looks like when the armory bug occurs, and when you troubleshoot then end up in the transporter room, you've skipped a tutorial step and you are prevented from going back because of the doors between the corridor and the transporter room. After respawning a couple of times, I'm also in the transporter room with the Borg constantly respawning. Bug started at the armory. The Tutorial is asking me to Join the Security Cadets.
