Each tac console, in this example, adds the same %age boost to the base weapon damage. ie, a 'flat' 4 * 20. The only limit is the number of console slots and whatever boost rate Mk XIV Epic quality tac console gives.

Yet we complain when people start a new thread instead of searching for an active thread on the same issue. Another key problem: accounts with very low post counts cannot start new threads anyway, so at least he necroed a relatively recent thread that was topical!

In addition, I would suggest not buying Zen ships (of either faction) until you reach Tier 6 (endgame) ships - because you'll out-grow the lower ones.

I'll go try the various factions' flagships - I assumed that given the Oddy type has advanced slipstream the others would too, but it would be prudent to test. Will advise here.

Welcome back! :) As the others have said, there is value in playing all four factions (Fed, 23C, KDF, ROM) for the story missions. Towards the end, they all start to converge into the main storyline so you dont 'miss out'. The temporal recruit event is handy, but not essential. Go out and have fun! :)

I strongly suggest waiting for the LTS to go on sale for US$199 rather than US$299 - it happens about twice a year. Alas, you've just missed one. Still, about halfway down this thread I looked at the rough Zen value of an LTS. Hope it helps you!! :)

As others have said, the 'special food' from the major events (such as the annual Winter Event) are actually pretty good because of the bonus it can give you.
