Been having banding issues as well - mostly during new content play and largely space-based. As with others, this began with the update deployment. Running on a VPN does offer some relief, but that is largely anecdotal. In any case, this issue is beginning to impact my desire to play :(
I've been around roughly the same amount of time, have invested heavily into this game, and I can honestly state that I have never been "shafted" by Cryptic/Atari/PW. Are there "bugs?" Sure. Balance issues? Sure Etc... Sure But Cryptic has always been fair with me in all interactions with them - monetary or otherwise. I'm…
Thanks for the info. I haven't run that mission in quite some time. I just went in, and **BAM!** My cones and rods immediately freaked out. I've also noticed similar bloom issues with "Firewall." Hopefully this will be looked at soon.
As a TOS "super fan," I love the event. While I agree that pugs can be difficult, I don't mind; I use the added time to enjoy the spooky '60s ambience. Somtaawkhar and thegrandnagus1... you guys should hop on the phone to hash out your differences. Live conversation can do wonders for conflicting a-type/passive-aggressive type personalities. You will never come to terms with one another via forum postings. It often appears that you folks are an old married couple? Maybe…
Let the complaints regarding new content begin! I am grateful that I am but a lowly, nerdy physicist. To be a software developer seems to be a thankless, terrible profession. You forum folks are really something special.
